dude thank, verything worked. but im trying to get #block to work. but i cant. what does the #mean? can u show me an example of how u would type it. iv tried everything. like for ex. .block twolf75 it doesnt seem to work. please let me know.
A # next to the command means you can't use the command unless the bot is physically an op on the server because these commands are annoying or dangerous to other players and the server itself.
Okay, I have had the other versions of this BOT, going back all the way to bot 2, so I have an idea of what I am doing here. I just downloaded this BOT, and set up the user.txt I ran the bot, with my other working username, and password like this as said (minus first dash):
-username-password-opium_hash_in_my_pipe
and it then says:
-minecraft.net is down <again> (and I checked to make sure it was up)
-hash is incorrect (tried many servers worth)
-username/password is incorrect (not the case)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
then I made a server.txt to try it another way, cheating I guess you could call it. I filled out the info in the correct order and way (minus dashes):
-username (BOT username)
-IP (from WOM URL)
-port (classic 25565)
-mppass (full URL {from minecraft site, not WOM})
then it does the connecting string thing, then says:
-Got kicked! Reason: Login failed! Try again.
Whats the deal here? I know it is right in front of my face! Am I doing the username-password-weed_hash wrong even though I am following the exact instructions? To my understanding, The URLs have been changing quite often, and it has been confusing the BOTs. And I know what url hash is, so I am doing that correct. Please help
I don't know, sometimes you just have to try alot of times to log onto one server, or minecraft.net is being annoying and not really working. I might bring in logging later so the exact error can be found.
i doed .filllava dirt and my bot doesent works now
What do you mean your bot doesn't work now? If its a particularly large cuboid using that specific command, it will take a while to load all the actions since it uses an older format to complete cuboids. This command has been superseded by the improved replace command so instead use "replace lava dirt" and it will load much faster, and is more efficient at carrying out the cuboid.
so after downloading the builder bot again. it allowed me to let it join MY server (Blooodhound FREEBUILD) but then once someone (anyone) said one word it would disconnect. please help

Could you please post the logs, as well as more info? Like what server software is being used.
ok... could u email me at [email protected] or ACTUALLY it would be way better if u logged onto my server @ Blooodhound FREEBUILD thanks. The server is Mcforge. Idk what else u want to know. Please want quick reply
still wont work. no matter what i do. :sad.gif: i hate it how it doesnt work. im missing out. i used to go around saving all my creations and pasting them in my server (which is only up weekends) but now i cant. could u facebook (skylar j stevens) twitter (blooodhound32) email ([email protected]) me? please?
The bot works just fine and will copy on one server. But on fCraft it will say place two shrooms but when you place the shrooms it does not identify them.
exceptions.IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'bot folder/bot-banned.
txt'
Well the error here says that you don't have a file named "bot-banned" in the directory of bot folder. So open up bot folder which should have files like info.txt and ops.txt and then right click and add a new .txt file and name it "bot-banned". Now the program should be satisfied.
Ok, so, I added the folder and it fixed the error message problem. I logged on my real account with Wom Client and it says the bot logged on but i can't see it at the spawn. Also, i need the bot to go to different worlds, so i need it to say /home. What do I have to type and are there any prefixes?
The command to make the bot say stuff is "say" so put the command prefix then say and then the message after it. For example if you want the bot to say "waffles" and your cmd prefix is "." you would put ".say waffles."
EDIT
You can also use the "comehere" command to make the bot come to you if its on the same map as you.
Not a good idea as the message you send to the bot has to go through the server first and the server will interpret it as a server command. Use something like "." or "!" or just leave it like "" and you don't even need a command prefix you can just type the command without it.
Any chance the bot will be able to take commands from command prompt? This way I dont have to spam the rest of the users with .comehere. Also, a glitch. If im more than ~100 blocks away and I use .comehere, it says "bot sent to 0, -1240, 0" Please fix the glitch and otherwise awesome bot!

A paragraph should be like a skirt: long enough to cover the content, but short enough to keep it interesting.

This glitch only occurs on the Skydive Server made by moosfet, basically the server will despawn all users more than like 100 blocks away from you. So just use .goto x y z to send the bot to coordinates that are near you, and then place your shrooms.
thanks for your bot, but there is a problem
it cant delete blocks, only build.
i cant cuboid air or erase something
and even building blocks is a little buggy, sometime it does and sometime it doesnt work
If the command list on the OP is not fully complete, could you please add the rest of the commands on the OP or link to a page with a complete list? Also if you could provide a short description for each command along with the arguments that the command takes, that would be great. Thanks! Also, another thing: If I paste something, it will not override blocks. For example, On the floor, if it is grass before I paste and the object to paste has an iron floor, the floor will remain grass after the bot pastes the object. I have to manually (or cuboid 0) remove the floor so the bot can place iron there.

The bot works on most servers, but not all of them.

The reason why it won't override blocks is because the bot uses an older format still for pasting objects which is more like a printer than the cube building now seen with newer commands. The Paste command simply hasn't been updated for the cell building method.
does it still work if my name shows in the chat eg: [Builder] taatuu25 ?
also can i make it to do commands? (like ordering it to type /goto world1
EDIT: my problem is that when i type 'cuboid red' (without the ' of course) in the console it shows the chat messages normally (also the message that i typed) and when i place two brown mushrooms nothing happens
There is coding so that the bot should work even with a title before someone's name.
If you want to make the bot say something like /goto blehblah blah, you would use the command "say".
So if you want the bot to go to world1 you would type "say /goto world1
Is taatuu25 in ops.txt? If it isn't, then the bot won't think you are allowed to use it.
Also what may be another problem is the command prefix. Right click on config.py and open it in notepad. Then look at COMMAND_PREFIX = and whatever is in the quotes is the command prefix. When first downloaded it is set to "." so probably you will have to put a period before any command. So you will have to do something like ".cuboid red" instead of "cuboid red"
Can someone PLEASE send me a copy of this bot. All I got is this older version that works but is no where in the league of the new bot. The old mediafire link is set to private so no download.... My hard drive crashed last summer so lost the copy of the bot....
Pm me or just send link to [email protected]
Thanks in advance!
