Could we do other peoples mods like tmi Pam's mods and others
Like I stated before, if they are fine with you putting their mods on GlobalCraft, than by all means do it. But, if you don't have their permission to post it and distribute it, than I'm sorry but I cannot let it on GlobalCraft.
You can always tell them about GlobalCraft, if you want to go that route.
Im not seeing any mods at all on the list, or anything on any list for that matter. I login, click mods, skins, textures, and im seeing 0 for everything. So i guess no one is sharing anything on this program?
so wait? only maps are working now? because i cant see anything on here. no mods no textures. this seemed so promising to :sad.gif:
Nobody is submitting any thing right now :sad.gif:. I'm trying my best to get the word out about GlobalCraft. The only content that you can submit right now, are maps... you will be able to submit all types of content very shortly. I'm trying my best to make a template, make the new version (1.1) and code all of the scripts for content submission all by myself, and I'm doing my best. :biggrin.gif:
We can only do maps right now owner of this could u accept the maps I submitted
The map download links that you've submitted are not direct links, they are mediafire links. Mediafire, and other non direct links are not supported right now.
You should really make it much easier to add stuff to Globalcraft, and adding stuff directly from the program would be much handier than from the website. And why two accounts? A "View globalcraft" and a "Dev" account, just have one? And also, are you manually accepting content submission? I noticed that you do not accept mediafire links as they're not direct, should be easy to check things like that automatically.
Just do an if(MyLink.Contains("dropbox")) { *add content } else { *Only direct links are supported* }
or something..and it's always good to launch with some content on it, as it'll motivate people to add their own stuff. Anyway, make it much easier and clearer on how you actually add content to Globalcraft, else it's good :smile.gif:
Yes, I understand that it's pretty unorganized right now, but all of that will change in version 1.1. :smile.gif:
I want to thank you for taking some time out of your day to write that, and thanks for letting me know.
Also, what do you mean by "are you manually accepting content submission". Do you mean if I manually go into the database and accepting the ones that have been submitted properly? If so, than yes. As for now, this is the way that I'm doing this, this will change in the future as I add some validation, that will allow people to submit files with the proper guidelines, so to speak.
I will be adding a page here in a little bit that will allow people to submit their own mods to GlobalCraft.

Prerequisites for all content are coming in the next update (1.1). So you are going to have to wait for this.
Hope that helps,

Please submit direct links, such as dropbox.

If you are talking about the new 1.1 updates, than yes. It is almost done. It should be releasing within the next two(2) weeks.
Thank you for your interest. :smile.gif:

Well, there is a lot that needs to be added. It might be out as soon as next week.
Also, it takes some time to program things.

I will be needing some testers to help test the new update (1.1) of GlobalCraft, coming next week or so.
Stay tuned for the an update that I will be adding to this thread when that time comes if you are still interested in testing. :smile.gif:
