What happened to this project? :sad.gif:
I was so excited!
Your going to be even more excited when I tell you that it will be releasing in a couple of days. :smile.gif:
I want to first start off by saying, that I am completely sorry that it didn't release. The reason is because one of my friends that was currently hosting it for me, completely bailed and stopped paying for the hosting, and well, I can't afford the hosting right now, so it just got shut down and I basically stopped all development on the project.
One of my closest friends came across this post and found out that I was the one that made this thing, and he told me that he would get me my own personal domain, and hosting all for free, so I want to thank him for making this whole thing possible.
Definitely looking forward to this! :biggrin.gif:
If you need a tester or anything I'd be up for it
I'm going to be needing testing for the next major update of GlobalCraft. I'll post more on the main thread when the beta comes out for it. Thanks again for wanting to test.
GlobalCraft has just released guys. Click here to go to the download page. Please note that not all the functions are in right now, however they will be in the next update, so stay tuned for that.
Please make sure that you stay tuned for our 1.1.0 major update that will be coming out in a few days guys.
I want to take a moment to thank all of you for sticking in there, and thanks again guys.
Have a good night,
Ryan
If you have any problems at all with GlobalCraft, please don't hesitate to PM me and ask. I'll gladly help you.
as a fellow developer:
- Use try catch statements on every method, when clicking twice on a browse button, you get an error.
- First run you get a 'config does not exist' error.
as a user:
AWESOME :biggrin.gif:
how do i add items?
EDIT:
i've got an awesome idea:
if you want to add a file, just drag and drop to the right section, and you get the add item screen with the right file loaded

Thank you for the feedback, and I knew that I was missing something... :tongue.gif: I need to put out an update where it uses try statements.
Thanks for reminding me.
Also, do add items to GlobalCraft you need to login on the site with your developer account, and then go to the submit content link at the top after logging in. At this point in time, you can only submit Maps, but this be changed later once I get more functions in.
As the 39th downloader, I support this :tongue.gif:
BTW, I'm getting a "Login Request Failed" message. I have signed up... what's wrong?
Thanks for your support, and I would just like to say that GlobalCraft is very unique to all of the other downloaders/mod installers out because it's all community user-submitted files, and not something that is preloaded. This alone sets is apart from all of the other mod installers out there.
Just keep trying to login, it should work eventually. You will get this message when the server cannot retrieve your user details, which means that the server might be offline or lagging a bit.
Could I put Aventure maps like the crevice and antvenoms peaceful map
If the creator of the piece of content (in this case, a map) gives you permission, or doesn't care where it gets distributed on, then yes. But, if you don't have permission, then I'm going to have to not allow it.
