Please note: Any save files made before 12w16a will have the Enable Commands checkbox disabled. To switch Creative Mode on in these files, load them up in 12w16a and save them at least once.
Also, this program DOES NOT and WILL NOT change your seed. It will only show you the current seed value.
If Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter were all destroyed, 90% of teens would go insane. If you're one of the 10% that would be laughing at them, copy this into your signature and hope it happens.
I will now download it. Mind if i make a video of it tomorrow? My channel needs some views and your program could use some publicity.

I don't get what the seed does, What if I have a premade map and I just wanna change to adventure without changing the seed?
The seed box doesn't save and it won't change anything. This program was originally made for telling you what the seed of a specific world was, and this creative mode switch is just an extension.
The only thing the program will change is Creative Mode.
I don't mind at all; editing programs is one of the best ways to learn programming. It's why I released it under the BSD license.
I will add that, as my program was released under the Modified BSD License, yours is, too, and needs to contain a copy of the Modified BSD License with it. This isn't the GPL, and so it doesn't require you to release the source code(though I do request to see the source code, I like reading changes people have made, but it's your choice), but it does require you to make it obvious in your distribution that it is under the Modified BSD License.
I am not trying to nitpick; those are the terms of the license. You may (obviously) add yourself as a contributor of the program, but you must keep a copy of the license with it.
A copy of the license is available in LICENSE.txt, either in the downloaded ZIP file or in the GitHub source.
Please note: Any pre-1.8 save files will have the Creative Mode checkbox disabled. To switch Creative Mode on in these files, load them up in Minecraft 1.8 and save them at least once.

It won't let me change the world type.... nor will it select all my saves in the list... Do i need to do somthing to fix this???

If the world is a save made from before 1.8, you have to open it up in Minecraft 1.8 first, and then save it again. 1.8 added data to the save file that my program uses for switching the game type, and if that bit of data isn't there, my program won't try to change it. (I could add the data myself, but I wanted to make sure I didn't mess anything up.)
Are all your saves in your MC save folder? And are they all in your system's default place for Minecraft saves?
1.8pre allows you to see the seed now by pressing F3.
I know, I made this program before 1.8 was released, and I saw no need to remove working functionality. Plus, my program lets you copy + paste the seed easily :tongue.gif:
This is compatible with the latest version of Minecraft.
Just run the JAR, choose your world from the dropdown box, check/uncheck the Hardcore Mode checkbox, and hit 'Save'.

Go for it :biggrin.gif:
Just put a link here when it's up.
