UPDATED! Added an autoupdater! So last download from here folks!
Tired of using the ol' Better BOB program to add custom objects to you world? Well now you can use my schematic to bo2 converter! This allows you to save .schematic files using WorldEditand have them converted to a bo2 for custom objects for PhoenixTerrainModto render in your world.
Basically, it allows you to literally MAKE the object in Minecraft. Then you can save it with WorldEdit as a .schematic file and this will convert it.
Its simple!
Simply select the .schematic file, edit the options, and click download! Here it is! Enjoy and happy world making!
PLEASE NOTE Large schematic files will take a while for the program to process. As a result, the program might appear to be frozen. BUT FEAR NOT! That means its working FIXED
COMING SOON: Grouping Support Added!
Bo2 Repository
Maybe add a viewer.
Any form of contributions are always appreciated and will ultimately be redirected back to you!
Working on that. Sorry the server is down at the moment. And the conversion cannot initiate unless the server is up. Sorry I'll work on a work around for that :/

You should definitely go to sfxworks.net and support my modpack.
Wow, I'm glad I finally checked this out. This has a lot of potential! I'll have to learn more about how to use PTM and how exactly this bo2 format is used by it, but I can already understand it's utility, especially for the Cubic Chunks version of PTM once we have that going. :biggrin.gif:
Thanks for making this! Unfortunately I'll have to set up a VM to run this in since it uses Adobe Air and I don't want that on my normal machine. :wink.gif: But it sounds worth it.
Just to verify; does this mean that we can make custom terrain items that PTM can then be used to populate the terrain with?

Basically. Say, you make a tree in minecraft with logs and leaves and want to see it populated across the world. As a result, you get this!
Real pinetree forest :tongue.gif:.
However, I am using this to its fullest extend. Making dungeons, ore, and other various objects that I am going to have scattered throughout the world.
BUT ITS ALREADY LOOKING SO REAL RIGHT? ? :biggrin.gif:
I have tried to use multiple schematics files with this converter, however even though you say that even though it freezes it works, its been running for about a hour.

Shouldn't take that long. Try restarting the program.

I have tried it 2 times for and let it settled for a hour, it just remains not responding. I have the latest Adobe AIR Runtime, and I am using Windows 7.

Very Nice!! I like those trees. So my understanding of this is correct. It's cool to hear about how this can be utilized regarding as a way of adding Dungeons & ores and such too. Thanks for making this. :smile.gif:

Most of them are trees, and there are a few small statues or fixtures as well.
These are all featured in my custom map thread if you feel like taking a look, but it's about to retire, sadly
Thanks for sharing those BOBs and letting us know about your thread! :smile.gif: I hope that your thread will be able to continue on in some way, you clearly have a lot to offer the community.

I also am running Windows 7 (x64) and cannot get this program to work. If I click down by the line at the bottom, it says "You will be prompted to save your file momentarily." .... and then nothing happens. Other than that I don't see any options at all to save the converted file. I also installed the latest version of Adobe AIR btw (I also tried with an older version, so I tried updating).

This currently has a lot of bugs. The file is saved on your desktop as convertertedbo2file.bo2
The new version (a lot less buggy and faster) is going to be out today.

I seem to be unable to Save My files when i have selected more than one schematic.
One at a time is fine,
But when there's 2 or more; the SAVEALL option just doesn't seem to do anything.
Thanks x
It should save them as a compressed .zip file. Does it not open up a window asking you where to save it to?

Glad you like it sir! Decoding the .schematic was the hardest part.
