im so sorry about that bug, i am now working a fix for it...
i think it might be related to the "apply changes" codes or maybe the "integer" value limits...
THE BUG IS FIXED!! for people that already own version one and do not wish to loose their mod, download the patch and replace MineMod Manager.exe with the one you downloaded
I think the new 1.1F download actually gives you the old version, and the program still says version 1 alpha. You might want to change that, along with the version.txt.
Edit: How come every time I update I lose all of my saves and my texture packs?

Nice interface so far, still need to test that it installed ModLoader + Shelf + Armor stand.
I got a crash when trying to install the Aether Mod. I think the bad thing I did was that I tried to drag and drop the 'resources/mod' folder, and after I did that it took awhile to think before "installing" the mod. I then went to apply my changes, and I got the following crash:

EDIT: It's a good thing I backed up my saves, because my latest ones are gone now. What the ****?
DOUBLE EDIT X2 COMBO: I see what you did there. You're rebuilding the entire .minecraft folder! Maybe you ought not to steamroll my saves directory.
Wait... you copied them back? OH I SEE, so they get copied back after you back them up somewhere... but I crashed, so they never got copied back. Now where could your backups be...
EDIT: checked to see that the mods were successfully installed. Shelf works, Armor Stand works.
EDIT: "Auto-saving before application closes" is NOT the behavior I want. I want to be able to scrap my changes if I make a mistake.
That value crash log has something to do with your program. If you downloaded a whole new version (1.1F), then technically the problem should be fixed. I'm pretty sure the actual problem is that what he says is the 1.1 download is actually a link to version 1.0. To fix your problem, download the 1.1 patch and overwrite your .exe. It fixed it for me.
guys i am very sorry about the deleting saves and texturepacks issue
the new version which is going to come up on friday will make accidentally deleting saves IMPOSSIBLE, let me explain...
currently, the mod manager backs up the saves and texturepacks, delete .minecraft and rebuild it entirely (as mentioned by chrisknyfe), then puts the saves and texturepacks back, so sometimes the mod manager crash and the saves never got put back, the new version (1.2 which is going to come out on 12/08 in my timescale) fixed this because now it doesnt delete .minecraft entirely, the saves and texturepacks folder are left UNTOUCHED by the mod manager.
just some sneak peak, version 1.2 will be renamed into Minecraft Omni-Tool (figured people dont like the phrase "MineMod") and features such as backing up .minecraft and a web browser is added.
version 1.2 included a new launcher/directory system, auto update, and settings
the settings include option to enable/disable autosave on program exit (as requested by chrisknyfe)
option to view the ModLoader log (as requested by makermod1)
and the best part is now adding mod package and adding mod manually are now separated into two different buttons (as recommended by makermod1 and ikinix)
oh of course there's also a credits tab that (will be) filled with people's name who helped
EDIT: sorry i do not have time to edit the thread and add in banners/credits(makermod1), i'll do it tomorrow
I know that part, but I didnt manage to get hold of it. Thnx!
Hopefully the 1.1 will fix it, looking forward to 1.2 as this really is a great tool.
By the way legenderyblah, can you edit your credits? I guess some people are using your tool now :tongue.gif:
yea some people are using your tool :tongue.gif:
its the best mod manager ive ever used
MineMod Omni Tool version 1.2 is out!
omni means all, because now, MineMod Omni Tool is a multi tool, not just for mod management!
alright, done advertising :dry.gif:
i fixed the issues with deleting saves and i added a lot of features :smile.gif:
also found out why the aether mod isnt working, it is because the sound files are not added correctly to the temp files and it is not really my fault :cool.gif: , go blame winrar or 7zip for that
i think unzipping the aether mod files then adding them fixes the problem
EDIT: so err tried unzipping, it doesnt work and tried doing it the "old fashioned way" still doesnt work... so who knows
also added credits, with you guys names!

if you mean mono as in single player, yes
if there's a mod named "mono", then probably yes too
