Guys, really, please don't squat on this. I understand your wanting the program, but it's like any mod, it takes time to crank out. I've been helping arcticfang with the two previous incarnations of this program, the OCMI and the Minetopia programs, he needs time to produce results.
As long as I don't have to install it, I'll probably use it.
In the "Let's Play" section, be sure to include Coe's Quest. It's the ultimate guide on how to become successful at minecraft and survuve the fist week or so.
Making some progress, anyone have a suggestion for the first mod I should include? Maybe a modder just starting out that has a smaller mod who will allow me to use it in my MCCP? I don't need source or anything, just the zip.
Single Player Commands. You should try and use that one.
Oh and for your first Large mod that you include do the latest Optifog_Optimine combo. Best mod i've ever had. At least, by the looks of it, until this one comes out. How exactly will it work though? will it be a standalone client or be directly incorporated as a mod into minecraft? As in do you need minecraft open to be able to access this mod? And will you be able to use this while being offline?

Sorry to answer for arctic, but arctic has a specialty for standalone clients that are able to manipulate Minecraft's files with quite a bit of ease.
In concern to the problem of being offline, I suspect that arctic may incorporate an old feature of his: local linking. As in having the zip file on your machine and simply pointing the program to it.
I just had an amazing idea. I would suggest, though, to wait after you release to attempt if you do. Add in, for mainly SMP, a logger that acts as a world map! Where ever you explore gets rendered in like the map in the game except that it would be endless as is the minecraft world (until it runs out of memory). It would be very helpful in playing. Maybe even a real time as to the direction your facing. I already have the CJB minimap installed (i hate zans) but this could be even better if pulled off.
Thats actually a good idea previously mentioned, embed in one of the better Map Renderring for SMP worlds.
I don't really know which one is the top notch one, (someone could point that out for me), but if you got approval, including that as a feature would be pretty sweet. Meaning you can just check out your server (or the server IP you choose), to render out. I think thats how they work atleast :S never used one.

Updates need to be a thing we want, not despise.

Edit: Yes, Coe's Quest is probably one of the best on YT
Single Player Commands. You should try and use that one.
Or better yet, the "More Fuel" mod, it's just one class file, one a base file mod, the other a ML mod file
Try this:
That work for you?

Damn autorefreshers....
and TMI too, but an option to turn them off
Or you can just switch out JAR files.

Take a look around the forums and see if you can scare up his old suite, "Minetopia." Or better yet, here's the link: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/188939-arcticfangs-minetopia-version-101/
*sigh* I miss that project... Hey, arctic? Still going to include that MC watch idea?
