Just wanted to swing by and thank you for making this software. Running the 8 GB version flawlessly, and playing on it from same computer without any issues at all, neither for me nor other players connecting via internet.
Easy to use, works brilliantly.
I do have one suggestion however - Make an option for the program to copy your world to a specified location, as a backup, So that you with one click will be able to back the world up onto, for instance, an external harddrive.
Well, thanks for the reply!! But I was going to make a backup function. You will see this in the next update! (see "future updates" for more upcoming updates)
I was really eager to try this software out. Unfortunately, the download link doesn't allow me to get the file. I am able to start the download, but it stops at .02 MBs and then never completes. Would it be possible for you to upload it to another hosting site? I would greatly appreciate it.

You probably aren't cool enough to play on the Talenta server. But you can try and apply.
Um... Sounds great! Downloaded it and it works fine. But I have a Question =D
If I want to add a plugin, How do i do that? Just copy + paste it in the "Plugins" folder?
Yes, unrar it first an than you are good to go!! But it's "possible" that there is a .jar file in the folder of the plugin, just take it out of there and past it also in the plugin folder.
This looks great, however, I am having an issue with Port Forwarding..
I believe I have port forwarded correctly, and I have done it before with another game.
however my friend cannot join my server.
Now, I am relatively new to Minecraft, is there anything else I should be doing?
All I have done so far is port forward and I use this program (btw it's very nice) to run the server.
Also, I don't think I can connect to my own server either..

Ok, I'll will send a private message to solve this :smile.gif:
Thank you for making the GUI for this, and thanks to the person who created the software. I just built a new personal MC server and have a question.
1.- I have the 64bit ver of Java installed in Program Files (not x86)
2.- Using the 5gb extreme edition since for the moment I only have 8gb of ram
3.- When running the server software, my ram usage still only shows 25%.
Is this normal? Do I need to allocate more in the JRE settings menu or will the server automatically do it?
I've noticed the world loading faster as I fly around, but not as fast as I expected (although that's likely just my connection speed).
Am I missing anything or is this working as it should?
Note: It was an existing server dropped into the install path for the server software, running bukkit, with a dozen mods on it.

Well thanks for the reply, but the server has in your case reserved 5 GB of ram so that means that no other program than the server it self can use it. Wen more ram is needed ,the server will use the ram that it has reserved. So wen you blow lots of tnt, you ram usage (%) will go up to handle the tnt.

Thanks for the heads up. I just wasn't sure. I ran a couple tests myself. Detonated 1000 blocks of TNT and it ran smoother as butter. Then detonated 4000 blocks and that's where it started to chug and bog down. I was also playing the game via my laptop on a wireless connection so I'm sure the bandwidth had more to do with that lag than the server did.
Either way, thanks again for making the UI, it's made quickly managing my server very easy.
I´m a bit noob in this stuff, so there a several thing i don´t understand. See, when i start the server, there´s no problem, but when at the next day i try to play, it doesn´t run and this is what appear in the blue window: "Culden get lock for the server.log" Followed by many other errors....
The fact is this... I wanna play with my cousin, but we can´t use Hamachi since we are using USB internet, which doesn´t allow those kinf of ports, and i thought this program would solve that, and so it was, but i don´t know if the errors happens cause some error, or because this program is not for waht i thought
It may be a bit confusing, hope you can help me soon
Greetings !!!!
Delete the "server.log" file and restart. Does this work ? If not pleas give a screenshot.
Hey, this is a great tool! Very easy to use, and I like how it works with ALL my bukkit plugins. :smile.gif: I only got one questions... I got a plugin that will show me how much lag there is and how much Memory is used/available. Why is it that with the CMD using Bukkit it usually never goes below 80% (out of 4GB) but with yours it'll go down to near 50% (out of 4GB w/ 4GB Plus Edition) then it shoots back up after a minute or two.
I'm using Windows 7 64-bit
Java JRE/JDK 7 64-bit/32-bit
Also, I got an error saying "PING" is not a internal command kind of thing, so I had to remove the line in the batch file.
Maybe there is something loading in the server. That needs more "Power".
And what is that tool called? I would like to check it's compatibility.
It's called LagMeter, it's pretty straight forward, but it didn't do something like this before I used MSS. No one else on my server seems to be lagging at all, and it still loading things fine, I'm just wondering if it's your tool. :tongue.gif:

Yea probably, your server has more ram to run, so more performance and stability and all of that good stuff. But I'm glad you like it! :laugh.gif:

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
I get that when i click on the plugins button in the main ui.
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

Do you have Norton AntiVirus? And please download and install .NET Framework 4
ok so I tried not putting in an IP adress and I don't know the IP for my friends. I tried making my own IP but it says Failed to bind to port. Please help
Done! thanks for the 'pin'! I really appreciated it!
Really? That shouldn't happen! Thanks for telling this! But it works now?
Thanks! Said about the admin :unsure.gif:
But did you really need "Microsoft .NET Framework 4" ?
