I would like to point something out though. You said in the first post that everybody can do every job. My only problem with that is that, if everybody is able to do every single job, whats the point in having economy. Because they would have no need in purchasing anything, they would build everything their self. The way an economy works is 1 person has 1 job. That person gets paid for that job to go buy objects from other jobs, therefore paying that job. Thats why we have shops, they pay for the goods so that they can make more money to go spend on what they want.
Gatherer -> Shop -> Crafting Shop ->
Creating a cycle, thus economy. I dont know if this helps at all but from what i read i think i needed to state this.

In Mc Kingdom, players will have the freedom of trying out everything, but they get bonuses when they do their job. For example, if a farmer was to sell his produce to a store, he would get the money from the store and a little bonus from the government. But if he was to sell ores to the store, he would have to pay a fine (same amount as the bonus) to sell the good.
How resource intensive is this? If I may ask? I might be able to do something with it if it's light.
Are you saying that you want it on Bukkit cause currently it works with just ModLoader. I have not tried it out on a proper server yet and kinda why I'm looking for one but I don't think it would be as it just takes input from GUI windows and then writes it to a file for saving, then this is read again when needed.
The Client version is available for download, but the Server version is not ready yet as it is not recompiling correctly. I will try to fix this problem as soon as I can. You can download the client version from our website www.serverspace.tumblr.com
I happen to know one of them, simply search it on Bukkit's forums. But you shouldn't be worried- Bukkit is for server sided modifications.
This is a server mod, but if you are talking about Towny, they are not a threat as they have commands, while I have GUI Blocks. Gui Blocks are a lot easier and I have much more features planned than them.
