When I run my cmd as a scheduled task (every 4 hours). It wont render nether. However when I use the GUI it does render the nether. Here is my code:
StopRenderTime.bat
mcmapDZ.exe -day -night -cave -nether -skylight -orientation W D:\SERVERS\MineCraft\world
Any idea why this is? I received "The space was left intentionally blank (404)" externally, internally I get the security issue on Firefox and Maxthon. When using the GUI I dont. Yet in the nether folder I see the images.
A bug in the GUI that might not easily be found as most people render maps with the Nether already explored:
If this isn't the case and you tick the Nether option the CLI error message "Error: This world does not have a hell world yet. Build a portal first!" is returned but a stop dialogue is shown (the bug) when the program attempts to move the image (that doesn't exist) from the working folder. The program can still continue so it can be closed normally of course.
MCMAPDZ is awesome. But it needs a max radius option.
I think it would also be really cool to be able to make a custom background image instead of just a color. Would add some much needed spice with very little effort.
noob question, but how can i get an img of the map so i can post it on my thread? i just get tons of little images i just want the whole thing made so everyone can see it

This is Google map style, for sharing and zooming in. You'll have to look elsewhere for one big image.

i know what style it is, but basicly if i want to show some one an awsome map i cant and its just for me..... well IMHO the tool is pointless if you cant let others see the map

I've updated mcmapDZ to 0.33. This doesn't add any major features, but I've included the latest version of mcmap, which should resolve issues with missing blocks, etc. Unfortunately mcmap hasn't been updated to 1.1, which means I can only ensure compatibility with 1.0, but it should work fine regardless.
For 0.4 I can promise that I will add the following features:
- 'Limits' feature from mcmap. This should allow you to only render a certain part of the map if your world is too large.
- More stable GUI, wrapping the CLI instead of attempting to run the render itself. As a consequence I'll be able to update the program without having to modify the GUI code.
If there's anything specific that you would like included, just give me a shout!

mcmapDZ: Simple, lightning-fast interactive web maps.
Just an update, 0.4 is ready to be released but I'm just waiting for Zahl to update mcmap for Anvil. Here's the full changelog:
- 1.2/Anvil support
- Rewrote GUI to render the maps using the CLI, significantly increasing stability, reducing bugs, and generally improving performance.
- Added map limits option in both CLI and GUI. This enables you to only specify a certain region to render, increasing speed for larger maps.
- PNG optimisation feature for both CLI and GUI, allowing you to effectively halve the size of PNG renders, at the expense of render time.
- Added ability to save settings in GUI
- Added option to save map PNGs in GUI, previously a feature only found in the CLI
- Added option to save map information in CLI, previously a feature only found in the GUI
- Added custom block and foliage colours to CLI, previously a feature only found in the GUI
If you'd like you can try out the pre-release version here. There's no 1.2 support yet (waiting on Zahl for that one), but it has all of the other features. I'm only mentioning it because I'm on a less than ideal computer for testing renders, so if you manage to get it working on your map it would be a great bit of feedback.

Zahl has updated mcmap with 1.2 support, so I've finally released 0.4! Changelog is above and you can find the download on the first page. Unfortunately I've (temporarily!) disabled cave support, as it doesn't work as of yet in the new mcmap version.
As always, if you encounter any bugs at all, please post here and report them.
Just a quick note, when trying to use jpg as format with any quality below 1 i get an error from mcmap saying it can not interpret the value as a float. I would asume that the problem is the use of "," instead of ".".
Are you entering the ',' yourself, or is the mcmapDZ GUI causing the error? If it's the latter, I'll have to try and find a way to fix that. Otherwise, just use a '.' instead, if it's not too much of an inconvenience. Python doesn't support the use of commas as decimal separators AFAIK.
Hi, I love McMapDZ thank you so much for creating this awesome tool.
I was just testing the latest version on a map that was converted to Anvil. It has a nether portal and the nether has been explored a fair bit.
I cannot seem to view the nether render when I switch to the nether drop down. I can see the top world ok. The nether gives me the following error in IE9: "This space is unintentionally left blank (2 Unknown)."
When I look into the maps/hell files/# directories I can see render tiles of the nether in folders 0-11 but I cannot view them with the seadragon interface. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the report! I'll look into it tonight, but could you post the HTML source here?

Thanks to your feedback, I've fixed the bugs and released 0.41! Changes in this version:
- Fixed long-standing bug in the HTML that caused nether renders to load incorrectly.
- Fixed an issue in regards to the JPG quality command on computers set to use commas as decimal points rather than periods.
- Cleaned up HTML template.
I've also released the a new source .zip file, now including the GUI source. In regards to a comment made earlier by SPG, I might also create a simple tutorial to allow people to share their renders easily using Dropbox.
Tryed to use mcmapDZ for my singleplayer map, but..
Why doesn't the readme say in clears the output folder if i choose another one with fles? I just lost Some videos and photos... -.-
I get the message: "The command mcmapdz.exe is wrong written or couldn't be found" after using the gui. But the mcmapdz.exe is in the same folder like the gui..

How did you render the map round instead of sprawling in every direction?

on 2 other maps (one or both a bit edited and converted for 1.2) I got something like that:
