hey guys i was wondering if anybody could suggest some good bukkit plugins. i already have BOSEconomy, chestlock, elevaors, fastobsidian(which doesnt work), homex, minecart mania suite, retrorepair, simplebarter, stargate, and tunrstile.
did any1 forget iConomy or Chestshop? Not even STAB (to prevent spaming)? Waypoint, FalseBook? Jobs? Permissions (I myself dont recommend because its hard to configure :tongue.gif:)? Come on! The plugins I have for my server and work AWESOMELY, are: Iconomy, Showcase (gonna change it to ChestShop Because its awesome), STAB, FalseBook, WayPoint, STAB, and Jobs. GET THOSE PLUGINS! dont get the ones you already have.

Absolute best plugin for protecting land is WorldGaurd.Hey guys can you give me a link to a list of something like the best 50 plugins for bukkit. It can be totally opinionated or it can have evidence. I don't care :smile.gif: thanks
If you only want to stop theft, LWC is the easiest to use because it automatically protects stuff as players place the blocks, but it doesn't stop bad guys from destroying the entire rest of your build. It also gets to be a pain managing permissions when you have lots of boxes and stuff, because you have to use a slash command for EACH one individually.
I think overall, GriefPrevention is better. It works automatically too, but protects an area so you can manage permissions for all your stuff at once, and also prevents people from breaking your stuff, killing your animals, trampling your crops, and so on.
Heres the plugins i use for my server(s): AppleTree, ChestShops, Factions, showcase, TimTheEnchanter, Essentials, NoLagg, TravelPortals, WirelessRedstone, WorldEdit, and WorldGuard. Hope this helps :smile.gif:

Also FireLord is pretty cool. Permissions, autosave, lockette, heroicdeath, propertime, bettershop, iConomy - all good and working with 1.4
I recommend Permissions but there is also Groupmanager and a few others.

IConomy is way better, very diverse and works great, with all the mods I have, most reliable of all plugins :biggrin.gif:
The plugin for groups is called the factions plugin
it encourages diplomacy within your server
