Yeah, that and it can't seem to remember my subscriptions. I can't subscribe to this thread for example. I always have to go through My Content->click this thread to look for new posts.

Sounds like there's more than one issue. I ran a forum powered by phpBB once. Huge pain. Never again. Mention anything to the site admin?
For future reference, the old versions are here: https://github.com/o...ungeon/releases and CHANGELOG.txt will show you which versions of MCDungeon work on which versions of Minecraft.

It said to press any key to continue, and something about it not being a valid sub-command. Is this a python issue? I did not run any special python installer, but I really don't understand it. I'm also re downloading 64-bit version. lets hope it works!!
Edit: Nevermind. I just realized I didn't unzip it into another folder. I'm testing it now!!
Edit 2: Got it working!!!! Love the dungeons on my amplified village survival map!!! =D
I have a nice map, with a TON of Dungeons, but I think I screwed something up when attempting to implement the "Dungeon Naming" script into my Overviewer config because none of my dungeons are named!
I'm not sure terrain control sets the biomeID properly. You'd have to figure out if there is a different biome ID for those oceans and add it to the list.
There's no current way to limit what heights dungeons are generated within. Good suggestion though.
For Mythicdrops, if you can figure out how to store an iten as an nbt file, you can place them in the items directory and add them to the loot tables that way. There's no support for creating random items from that mod though. Do they document their additions to the nbt format?

MCDungeon - Procedural Dungeons

Hey eggplant. I want to say first off thanks for this awesome minecrat tool, it is epic!. I have used it before with great success however now while attempting to generate dungeons in MC 1.7.2 it tells me that it has placed none. I set all of the settings in terms of size and number to 5 so i dont think there should be any problem there. I am not using any mods. and the distance from spawn is set to 1. Am i missing something? Thanks again!

In order to help, you'll have to provide a little more detail on the problem. For instance:
How big is the map you're working on?
How much of the map is water?
What are the min & max from spawn?
What's been set in the config file?
What is fill_caves set to?
Do you have a log file or terminal output you can post?
These (and more) are things that can help us help you better (and I know because I've learned the hard way! ) My usual suggestion is to set max_dist to something outside the world boundaries so MCDungeon will take the edge of the world instead. In my experience, anything less is likely to disappoint.
This delves more into overviewer support, but it looks like you didn't generate your points of interest. (I don't see the option on the map)
Will have to re-run then and make sure I do it right this time. I put the original world on a USB stick for my daughter and she deleted it because she thought it was a copy of one she already had.
I assume it would be a *lot* of work to give MCDungeon the ability to create dungeons in The Nether and/or there's been no demand for that kind of flexibility?
So... Along those lines, if I just rename my DIM folders, can it still be done? Or would MCD get buggered and crash?
i have a suggestion on how nether fortresses could work. where a normal dungeon starts with a tower (or any other entrance) on the surface with layers below it and a boss room at the bottom you could have nether fortresses spawn inverted. that is to say have a tower protruding from the ceiling down into one of the big openings in the nether. (maybe have it check for 20 blocks of air to keep it from being in a tiny cave) and then have the actual floors of the fort start at the bedrock roof and go up with the end room being the highest. another entrance type you could try is once again have a tower going to the roof but make it search for a blaze spawner and replace one of the spawner rooms per a nether fortress as there is usually no generated structures above one. i'll make a prototype of these later and post pictures. i could also do room schematics for you guys if that is how you want to start the project. (taking a room and randomly lining it up with another room) anyway. that is my blurp and i would be happy to help with it. (i can't code though. but i could design parts and pieces)

If I run it from a linux shell I get the same error, but with SyntaxError: Inconsistent tabbing
Which version of Python are you using? MCDungeon requires Python 2.7.
Have you modified the code files at all?
-Narkah, The Apparently Computer Alliterate.
Are you using Windows? If so, download the windows version either the 32-bit http://mc.bubblemod.org/mcd/mcdungeon-v0.13.0-win32.zip or the 64-bit http://mc.bubblemod.org/mcd/mcdungeon-v0.13.0-win64.zip.
Unzip it anywhere, run launcher.bat and follow the on-screen instructions.
Edit: Spelling Errors

You can try running one of the many chunk/region fixers out there.

Thanks for the tip!

I've never tried it, but my guess is that it will generate all the dungeon entrances above the bedrock layer that exists on top of the nether.
