I tried to make what you asked for and here is the result. It's not perfect but I assume this is what you were looking for. I hope you like it. If you want any changes, please let me know. Thank you.
Yes I Tried Using The Filter On The World That I Am Editing But Mcedit Froze Is This Happening Because My Computer Does not Have The Ram Needed Or What What Else Do You Think It Could Be
Just Fixed It Is Was The Fact You Cant Select The Whole World You Only Small Parts At A Time Thanks SO MUCH THIS IS VERY USEFUL TO THE REACH Community
You can easily select the whole world via MCEdit by holding ctrl and pressing A . I did it this way on purpose, just in case someone else does not want to mark the chunk borders for the whole world.
I have a request for a MC-edit filter that makes AIs for red-stone tic tac toe red-stone build and it needs to have easy medium hard does anybody have one that makes what i am describing or a schematic would be great i part of a red-stone building team and we really need one of these built a filter would be very useful for now and the future red-stone builds
I have an idea! The server I play on currently uses one simple mod that is on 1.6.4 right now, but once it gets updated to 1.8, we are going to have a hard time as the /give command works differently, instead of things like "/give [player] 137" for command blocks, you need to type "/give [player] minecraft:commandblock" or something like that.
The problem is, our server has a lot of /give command blocks and they are very useful, but it would be a huge hassle to change them all separably
The filter I am requesting would be able to change the /give commands in command blocks from the item id's to the newer way it works.
Thanks!
Never mind! Turns out my friend just found one!
So Basic, there is a blocks that has a "TagCompound>Shape number"
so using the filter "SnapatyaBlockRotator" but i need to edit the line to make it target the "TagCompound>shape number" so i can change the direction that block is facing.. it is due to the shape number..
for example shape number:66 (north)
you would make it face south, so you change the shape number: from 66 to 67.
How do i edit the lines inside "SnapatyaBlockRotator" to work like above i am talking about?
the ID item of the block is not applied. only shape number is applied to change the direction it is facing toward.
EDIT:
how do i know that? i used NBTedit to find out the details of that block and this is how i learned about TagCompound>shape: 66
Hi, this seemed quite interesting to implement and as far as i could see nobody has done it yet (or I just missed it) so I went and whipped something up.
It's quite customisable - you can select which type of blocks you want to clear out (or you can just clear out all of them), it allows you to specify how many passes to do an wether or not to treat lava and/or water as an air block (it does replace the block with water/lava if it's on the same plane).

WOW.
Woooow. Wow.
So not only haven't you forgot my request, but you DID actually implement it! AMAZING!
All the way since the last time we chatted in early 2012, I had no idea, I actually forced myself to set up RaspberryJuice just recently and start learning Python to finally make the idea come true and stop itching my mind! Then I finally got a working script and begun to think about porting it to MCedit, browsing that list of community-made scripts, just out of curiosity... only to suddenly stumble upon a script whose description says what I need precisely! "No, that can't be. That guy didn't actually made it, lol, he must have forgotten my request long ago, not to mention I did..." Then I open the link, and... It's true! It's freaking true! During all these 3 years my dream, my idea was waiting for me, being brought to life! Dude, I don't even know how can I thank you!

I've installed Cython, numpy, pyyaml, pymclevel, and trying to run a script from the above post, getting:

I don't see why the filter is not working properly for you. I ran it just fine, no problems whatsoever.
Giving your traceback info a quicklook, it seems like MCEdit (Python actually) could not manage to import alphaMaterials properly. If that's not it, then there is something wrong with the files' paths.
P.S. I don't think you had to install numpy and pyyaml (whatever that is) to run MCEdit. Installing Python (and not Cython ) was enough, and pymclevel comes with MCEdit, so I don't see how you "installed" it. Anyway, I am not trying to criticize here, rather understand the situation and help out however I can.

numpy and pyyaml are listed in pymclevel's requirements.txt. I installed these modules with easy_install, writing "python easy_install.py PACKAGENAME" into .bat file and then running it in the same directory with easy_install.py.
Also, what can I do if the thing about alphaMaterials is true?

All I can say is, make sure the files are properly located in your system. I can't really help you any further than that, sorry. In case you're lost, you can just uninstall python and delete its files, then reinstall python and go redownload MCEdit from www.mcedit.net/. And if I recall correctly, you don't have to install neither numpy nor pyyaml.
Hey does anybody know where the Python code for the Apply Blocklight filter or the Light Level Filter I need 1 of them or both Need them for a New filter i been thinking of making

Here is a filter which places torches and generally lights up the selected area. Also, here's a filter I made a good while ago. It's a lot simpler than the first one I suggested and it's kinda slow, but it does the job.

i know there is World Edit but i cant fin any way to get in in 1.8
bukkit server is not possible DMCA takedown, and forge version is outdated, any help?
You can always code one Using the random module that python has, of course (I mean; that's the way I'd do it).
Btw, spigot provides a server jar quite similar to the craftbukkit one (if not identical, to be honest)..

Before asking something, try googling it first.
