Hi, I just wanted to say that these map generators are really awsome! I just tried the planetoids generator and downloaded some others, and I can't wait to start playing the new maps.
I was a bit worried they might not work on MC1.7.3, but they justed needed conversion.
I have added this topic to my watchlist and if you make any new generators I'll be sure to try them out as well!
2 thoughts i had
1. a generator that's a cave world, there's about 10 units above ground for you to collect trees and build a house
ores are about 1.75 times more common, dungeons twice as common, and if you can make abandoned mineshafts in there at about the same rate that they normally spawn but with about 2x the spawners in them and about 1.25 X the chests in them.
2. a world generator that resembles the 1.7 generator except with the new features like mushrooms, villages, strongholds, etc, but that's not it. it has a giant adminium (bedrock) roof over all the chunks it generates why the 1.7 generator? the 1.8 generator sucks because it's too flat.

If you tell me Redstone is useless, boy I will kick your butt.
Planetoids V2: http://www.minecraft...125-compatible/ - an update to the classic to support the full map height and add a nether version of the map in the nether.
can you make a fjord generator? it would be awesome! I am making a large fjord by hand now, but it´s taking really long time... that would help me alot!
great generators btw.
How about parallel processing support. Would like to be able to process on 12-core server and generate maps in a couple of minutes rather than 30 minutes

Snowy mountains and huge chasms, with ice caves and such inside giant ice floes...
YES.

I may update the old ones once this one's done. I haven't entirely decided on that yet. It's either that or starting another game project.

It is coming along, but I keep underestimating the scale of the thing.

Glad to see something. I look at this thread to see the same stuff I saw months, possibly a year ago, with apparently nothing new.
May I ask what the point of this post is? It relates to nothing in this thread, and all you did was post an image.
There's yet more to come!
My dungeon adventure map generator actually does contain cities: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1147863-dungeon-adventure-generator/ (well, it can depending on what world sequence you get)
To be fair, they're not exactly traditional human cities though.

Dungeon Adventure: http://www.minecraft...ture-generator/ - this one took more than a year to make. It's sort of MineCraft + Zelda + Myst.
