That didnt really answer my question and makes me think your not following any other minecraft mods other than bukkit which is dieing.
Edit: Another thing I cant find is how to create themes for the multicraft panel.
Yes he did, Multicraft just gets the console output and parses that. It will work for SpoutServer properly as long as the console output is not drastically different.
P.S. I love Multicraft, seriously I'm so glad I replaced McMyAdmin with this.
The JAR file can be downloaded and installed through "Settings"->"Update Minecraft". Please check that the JAR file exists in the location it mentions.
You don't have to download it manually, you can simply use the update functionality of the panel. It should still work fine using your method, though. Note that the user running the server will have to be able to access the file, which means he also needs access to the jar directory. When you run the following command as the user running the Minecraft server (mc1 for a server with ID 1):
ls /home/minecraft/multicraft/jar/craftbukkit.jar
Does that work fine?
What are the permissions in your installation directory?
ls -la /home/minecraft/multicraft
Yes, that's normal. As long as the JAR file is accessible by other users as well this is fine.
You can try running the Minecraft start command manually, the error message you get is actually printed by Java, not Multicraft so this points to an issue with the permissions.
To test if the user has access:
su mc1 -s /bin/bash -c "ls -la /home/minecraft/multicraft/jar/craftbukkit.jar"
Assuming your server ID is 1, otherwise replace 1 with the appropriate value.

@nhoclesnar: You don't need the run.sh anymore, starting with b1.4.0 Multicraft handles that automatically. Also, the variables in there ({SERVER_ID}, etc) are replaced automatically, you don't have to replace them yourself.
@mrchasez: Seems to be resolved according to your email.
I am trying to install Multicraft on my Linux server. I download the package, extract it, run the setup.sh, all that works fine and dandy. All the folders and files are placed where they are supposed to be, including the var/www/multicraft.
Do you have a webserver with PHP support installed on your machine? Multicraft does not include a webserver for Linux systems since all distributions come with their own webserver packages.

Ok, it seems to be running. Visiting http://your.address is independent of Multicraft so as long as this doesn't work it means that there is some kind of issue with the webserver you have installed on your system.

I finally got it to work. Turns out, all I had to do was type in my servers IP in the browser without the /multicraft or /multicraft/install.php. Just the IP and that's it, and it took me to the install. Not sure why, but oh well. I finally got it installed and now to tackle getting the settings correct.

@darkcloud784: What nala3 said is correct. More information is available here: http://multicraft.or...ge?view=usage#9
You can take a look at the "classic" theme in the themes folder for an example or alternatively edit the base files in protected/views/layouts.

My problem starts when I try to go to the http://my.server/multicraft or http://my.server/mul...aft/install.php, it just times out. It doesn't load the Multicraft front end installer.
If I use https:// instead of just http://, my browser just downloads the install.php file and does nothing.
This is driving me insane lol
Any/all help would be appreciated greatly!
