Is there a different name for signs? I'm trying to get signs to be logged when placed.
[sign]
on-create=notify,log
and it neither logs, nor notifies.
I have the same settings for lavabucket, and those work, so i'm guessing that I don't have the right name for signs. (saw somewhere that signblock would work, but it doesn't) :sad.gif:
Also, is there a way to get it to log location? As of right now, it only says when and who did something.
onacquire seems to be broken. Incase anyone is looking for information on this, I believe it is the result of a hey0 event hook that is not functioning. Bukkit should be out and I believe this may be ported over (I hope so!). In the mean time, ill wait it out, unless anyone else has more information on how to get this to work properly.
Chests and sign checking no longer really works since hMod is in limbo at the moment. There are some workarounds but I am waiting for Bukkit, although I may release another version tomorrow or in a few days to fix it anyway.
Version 2.0beta1
The only notable addition is area protection. I am currently using it on my server and has been working well, but this is beta for a reason! Right now only cuboid / AABBs are supported, although WorldGuard is completely extensible and adding other region shapes (polygons and whatnot) is very simple, aside from writing the algorithms efficiently.
NOTE: WorldEdit has to be installed! It doesn't have to be a loaded plugin -- you just need WorldEdit.jar. The exception is that if you want to use area protection, in which case you DO need WorldEdit running as a plugin.
I completely understand. Im in the same boat. Im geting into Java and plugins, but it is difficult at this time. I do enjoy the plugin, it is great! Keep up the good work, and lets keep our fingers crossed for bukkit.I onder when it will be ready?
As everyone knows hMod is discontinued for pretty much forever, however I am here to ask you if you knew about a version of hMod called kMod that is being actively updated for Minecraft Beta 1.2 by an admin for a PvP server (the forum on his server's website site is here: http://forum.minecraftpvp.com/)? The latest kMod version lacks support for dyes and support for dyed wool and has issues with existing hMod plugins (because nobody knows about it and is probably porting their stuff to the half-stable Bukkit server mod instead of updating for a an hMod version they don't even know exists). Most importantly though is that almost all of the bugs in kMod pertain to either things that the guy developing it has at the top of his checklist of things to do (a checklist, that if you look at the release history on the subforum on the site for kMod, is getting shorter by the day) or have to do with compatibility issues that arise between un-updated plugins and the updated Beta 1.2 code of the server mod

I want to use mods like this for my server but I haven't the slightest idea how to install it. I look at all these guides and seriously cannot fathom what they are talking about. Anyone out there willing to walk a lost soul in the most dumb founded way to get this mod working on my server? Much appreciated.
I pulled out the splintery axe and selected my region:
First Position set to (-824.0, 71.0, 896.0) (806)
Second Position set to (-800.0, 71.0, 870.0) (675)
I then used:
//extend vert
and it selected all of the blocks porperly. But when I went to define my region as above I got the crappiest error.

I figured out the issue. I was using an older version of craftBukkit. Once I updated to a newer image of it the region commands worked.

I had a question about the commands in worldguard... To be honest I don't even know if the plugin is actually worldguard or something else that is on my server though...
When I define a region using the wooden axe or the //pos1-2 commands, it works fine. Setting up the region flags works fine and everything to, but when I type /region info [region name, fracturemain] it brings up a list of the commands that are [allowed/none/deny]. There are two sets (4 commands0 of commands that I dont understand and would like help with... I can't even find what they do on google D:
/region flag fracturemain teleloc [allowed/none/deny]
/region flag fracturemain teleperm [allowed/none/deny]
/region flag fracturemain spawnloc [allowed/none/deny]
/region flag fracturemain spawnperm [allowed/none/deny]

Well that's a bummer..
[diamond,coal]
on-acquire=log
on-drop=log
[chest]
on-break=log
on-use=log
on-drop=log
I want to log when a user enters a chest and takes a diamond. for the chest, on-break works, but on-use will not generate a log entry.
Also diamond wont produce log entries for on-acquire.
should this work as I have it setup or am i missing something?
and it neither logs, nor notifies.
