Thanks for all the feedback! I've updated Minemapper with the latest mcmap and Minecraft Biome Extractor, which have added support for biome rendering in the new Minecraft beta v1.3 map format.
I can't get this to run :sad.gif:
I have installed the .net framework. When I try to run it it just tells me that it encountered an error and had to close. I've seen this error mentioned a couple of times in this thread, but no solutions. Any idea how I can get it working?

Sorry for the silence, been busy with other projects. The authors of the excellent mcmap and MBE have updated their tools to support the new Minecraft 1.0.0 release, so I've built a new release that includes these updates. You can get it at http://minemapper.codeplex.com.
I liked the idea of this until I tried it on my Bukkit server. It just shows up as a blank world every time. It seems to work just fine with all of my single player worlds and my Vanilla Server saves. It just doesn't seem to want to work on Bukkit. I have the normal version of MCMap and it does the exact same thing, so it's probably an issue there and not on your end.
i would like to suggest something for this app. I think you should add some more filters for minerals, spawners, and dungeons. sorta like an Xray. and it would help if the rendering was faster...
thanks and i hope you consider my request/suggestion. :smile.gif:
Any word on an update to this program? I'd never tried it until this evening and I am SO impressed with it. Much better than rendering a whole map with mcmap (or mcmapDZ in my case). Instant gratification is always a win
Updating the included mcmap executable(s) and unchecking the biome option makes it render Anvil-format worlds but since it is limited to the old 128 block height limit, it cuts off taller constructions

This is because Minemapper hasn't been updated to support the new Anvil map format.
