This is much better than INVgrid....also I was wondering how the time editing works?
What I have found is that if I set the time to 0 it will be sunrise in the game, but I believe this can cause the sun to disappear (even though it is still daylight ... this is why I consider the feature experimental). When night falls again you can set the time back to 0.

Only gripe I have about it is how long it takes to load a save, otherwise it's fantastic!

How long does loading take for you?
Initially loading it, is very fast, but loading it after you have previously saved (trying to re-load it), is slow. Like 5-10 seconds or something.
Just a word of warning, ONLY use this outside of Hell until it's updated correctly. If you use this in Hell nothing good happens and you could revert your save back to a previous state. I personally lost some blocks I was standing on and fell to my death, haha. But otherwise it still works, minus new item images/values.
For anyone using this, I've made an improvised mod to it to account for the Halloween update, at least partially - instructions are below. I'm only doing this until the program is properly updated, and for safety's sake I still wouldn't recommend using it while you're in Hell/The Slip/The Nether. Also, as far as I can tell, you can use whatever name for each item that you'd prefer - whatever you type in is just used in the display, it doesn't change the item itself. You could, for example, lable the Pumpkin as 'Fish' and you'd still end up with a pumpkin.
If you right-click the app and select 'show package contents' it will open a Finder window with a folder titled Contents.
Contents>Resources>Items.csv
In this file are all of the items that the program can modify. Find the value "85,Fence" (without quotes), then add the following:
Make sure every number is at the start of a new line. If you want, you can add "90,Portal" between 89 and 91, but I skipped that myself since I have no desire to mess with that block.
Next, find "346,Fishing Rod" and add the following after it:
347,Watch
348,Lightstone Dust
349,Raw Fish
350,Cooked Fish
Then save the file and you can add/modify these in your inventory.
This is an *improvised* mod for this program - none of these items will have icons, and if there's only one in an inventory space it will still appear to be empty (though it still works, and they all have icons, in-game).
I wish I could try this app, but I'm still on 10.5. :sad.gif: It's a shame it requires Snow Leopard.
Shame Snow Leopard is cheap as dirt, right?
Touché. In my case, I'm on a loaner machine and have no specific work-related reason to ask for an upgrade. Point taken, though; I suppose I could fund my own upgrade if I wanted it badly enough.

Inside Job 1.0.1 final is now available here. Release notes can be found in the readme, but mostly it's the same as the 1.0.1 betas but with Halloween update items (and images) added.
My thanks to Nick Loose on GitHub for preparing the updated Halloween item images and related changes!

Thanks very much!!
Try InvGrid. It's not that great, but it's functional.
