I plan to release an update but no ETA at the moment. Every time I think I have time to work on it, I get interrupted. :smile.gif:
My plans for the next release include:
1. Updating the items to 1.5.
2. Supporting changing item types without having to remember damage values for items that support it.
3. Remove the "Open World X" options because they are now useless and cause a lot of complaints.
In the mean time, someone can put together a file with all of the new items and share it. Then maybe the wait won't feel so bad. :smile.gif:

Can you make it so it shows all of the worlds instead?

I can put I'm not going to for the next release. Getting something out is a bigger priority. The "Open" option already automatically opens to the world save directories. Of course, patches are welcome. :wink.gif:
is it possible to edit your inventory while playing
There's a mod that does so, but other than that, no. The closest you can get is hitting escape, letting the level save, and then opening your editor each time you want to make an edit.
Thanks SOOO much! i had previously downloaded this and i found out about cookies and i needed cocoa beans, so i was looking for an update to this, so thx!!! COOKIES!!!
Can I know if this is compatible with Vista? I know it says Linux but just wondering if it is also compatible. If not can pm me and send me a link of a reliable Inv editor?
I've release version 0.9 which includes all items up through Minecraft 1.6.
This will be my final update for InvGrid. I have had trouble finding the time to update InvGrid for a while. I feel it's better to announce the end of the project than to let it suffer a long slow death. The source code is in the public domain, as it always has been, feel free to use it however. Thanks to everyone for their comments and feedback.
Hi I'm a total novice at this. When I download and open INVgrid, And then choose >file ... My only option is to choose "Open" and then it brings up a dialogue box. There are no "open world X" options like I am seeing on tutorials and videos.
Am I retarded? What am I doing wrong? BTW if I choose to Open my level.dat from the Open command dialogue box INVgrid just crashes so I'm pretty sure I'm not doing something correctly. Any Ideas?

I'm pretty much in love with it, and since minecraft is coded in java, you can basicly run it in just about every OS. Just installed it. :smile.gif:
Thanks!

diabetes type 2 diet
Maybe, but it's designed for mac and there are better editors out there that are designed for PC.
And for those using OSX 1.6.x, use Inside Job.
