I think that the Absorber rune is unnecessary if SuperLlama gets around to implementing a cut paste rune. I've suggested one and I'm sure others have suggested it, the difficulty is some runes are hard to cut and paste since torches need anchors and a lot of runes use torches. As for a copy paste rune I would suggest not using anything that requires anchors like redstone dust or torches. I suggested something that uses redstone blocks, but I also suggested something that converted iron into redstone.
Also I think as far as wands go I think that it would be neat if wood tools were considered as wands of different types, for example a wood sword is actually a fire wand, a wood hoe is a water wand, a wood shovel is an earth wand and a pick is an air wand (I'm not sure if shovel and pick should be switched or maybe swap wood pick for stick). Since once you get stone you don't really ever use wood tools just slap a texture pack for wood tools and viola four different wands.
This gave me an idea. The Elemental Wands :wink.gif:
If there is a way for the runes to tell teh difference between teh difference colors of wool you could do something with the wool for this. Colored wool's damage value decides what color it is.
If he does implement that, I could make a texture pack. But I would rather him make them for the stick because that there is really no use for it besides building stuff.
Well I think that the absorber rune would eliminate the copy and paste problem because it would absorb it into the stick kinda like the glass shield rune is absorbed into the sword.

Pickaxe = Earth

That above one could be used for the Nature Wand (axe) to do something... maybe instagrow trees. Or ........... :smile.gif:

What about a floor laying rune (similar to the wall-making rune)?
It's called the bridge builder rune.

So, I'm not sure about the design of this rune, I was building in clock circuits and noteblocks into a lot or them so this is probably one of the simpler designs I have.
The Ink is supposed to be the same as the sword being enchanted (Diamond Blocks-Diamond Sword, Gold Blocks-Gold Sword, Iron Blocks-Iron Sword, Furnaces-Stone Sword)
This enchantment multiplies the damage of the sword Wood x1, Stone x2, Iron x3, Gold x4, Diamond x5. And it's double effective on gold so x8. I thought of this when someone suggested a Instant death rune, and well these damage multipliers are practically Instant death.

Oh yeah, wood ax, that would be good for air, I didn't want to use pick axe as a wand cause it's an actually used tool. I know you like a stick as a wand, but it just feels weird having a stack of wands.

Master Forge (3D Rune) Allows you to completely repair the tool/armor used in the forge and get double use out of all smelting fuel.

Laws and Reasoning
As stated above, this rune will allow the inner furnace to repair armor and tools while giving DOUBLE length for all smelting fuel (yes, lava bucket included :iapprove:). The reason I chose the materials I did for the rune to was to not only make it look like a reasonable furnace, but also to ensure that it was balanced. Yes, the materials will not be terribly easy to gather, but if you do so then you will gain an invaluable tool that never expires. I'm sure the effort it would take to craft this will be well worth the amount of diamond it will save you in tools and armor. Also, if you need to relocate the rune you can since all of the parts drop when broken, unlike glass.
Activation Requirements:Right-Click furnace with any tool to enable rune. Rune stays enabled till disassembled. Rune Uses:Unlimited
Fixing Tools and Armor
By using the furnace within this rune you will be able to fix tools and armor. As illistrated below, you can use both and to fix armor and weapons. 1 ingot is all that is required to fix your weapon/armor piece and it does not matter which you use. The ingot will only fix these things, though, so it will not smelt other objects.
Double Smelting Powerrrrr!
This forge is so powerful it can block out the sun! That being, you can now get double the uses out of each your your fuels! In Laymen's terms...

"The entrance is wack, man. I want a door!"
Fear not. After you have activated the rune then you will be able to put a door in without any problem should you choose to. I know that many people would not enjoy a door on their furnace and that is why it is optional. :3
Well, that's about it. Let me know what you think about this :3
To Superllama: I hope this isn't too complicated to impliment. I figured that simply altering a few data points for double smelting and causing the furnace to accept the tool/ingot combo and spawn a new tool wouldn't be that bad on ya :3
I had an idea recently, or more a question really. Is such things as teleporters, or other runes, that can only be activated at different times of day possible. Could you make a teleporter that would only work at night, or day. Also might it be possible to have a teleporter change its signature based on some condition? It goes one place during the day, another at night, or changes to the next in a list every x minutes.
There could by building an Admin Control Panel style rune of some kind on the teleporter and using signs to add or remove signature combinations using a sign. A block id on each line representing N,S,E,W. If it doesnt exist on its rotation it adds it, otherwise removes it. Another sign with TIME 20 MIN or TIME DAWN or TIME USED could set when it changed to the next destination in the list, ONLY NIGHT or ONLY DAWN could set when it was active, and CLEAR would reset it to be a normal teleporter. If you wanted the expense of material to be involved the admin control could feature space to put the blocks for the added signature and only use IDs for removing them from the list.
Not quite sure what is possible regards what a rune can remember or have as individual attributes. Obviously a teleporter can remember what its signature is so maybe it could remember a list of them, but triggering a change might be another story.
I also had the thought of some kinda of pressure cooker furnace that maybe involved lava and tnt to turn coal into diamond, ie heat and pressure and have it be consumed in use, to make it costly. Though you can't manipulate coal as a block so I'm not sure what would be the best approach.
I really like the design for the master furnace, and yes, clay is not very common, but it's not too rare as well. And I wouldn't mind if double burn time was functionally possible (although changing furnace mechanics is probably no simple matter). The issue I have with the Master Furnace is balance with repairing items. This rune effectively turns iron into diamonds in regards to tools, and unless you adjust the cost to be approximately the same ratio of effectiveness of the tools (i.e. if diamond is 10 times more effective than iron it would take like 8 iron to fully repair a shovel) then this imbalance could be rather exploitative.
Same with the pressure furnace that changes lava TNT and coal into diamonds. The generation of diamonds doesn't out weigh the costs in creating it. With a half decent mob grinder, and the lack of need for TNT make it not uncommon, and the fact that players easily farm obsidian, lava is in no short supply (especially near the core).
In regards to Pagnatious time dependent teleportation mechanics I would think this functionality is more complicated then the benefit you gain. if you need multiple teleport locations then why not use multiple teleport runes. If it's for security then why not use some sort of other security by obfuscation if you are trying to hide a teleporter in a teleporter. For example bury it in some wall that only you know where is. Now, timing dependant runes do have merit, for example if you had blocks that would appear or disappear depending on day or night would be cool, then you could have a wall disappear to reveal a teleporter at night.
Also if there was a rune that could be use as a long term clock that would be nice since making long timers with redstone is quite complicated and costly in space and resources.
I like the furnace, but I think that it should require material appropriate to the tool/armor. So to repair diamond you would need a diamond, rather than gold or iron. It would still save diamonds for those who are careful with their armor and tools, which I also like. It makes since that those who treat their armor/tools better would have them last longer.
That Master Furnace rune looks really interesting, though I have to agree with what a couple others have said in that you'd probably have to change it to where the only materials that could repair an item would be what the item was made of, or possibly to upgrade your own tools or armor.
Basically my idea for the upgrading mechanic is an extension of the repair mechanic already mentioned in the Master Furnace rune idea. Essentially it would be you could take any tool or piece of armor and upgrade it to the next higher level of materials for a lot cheaper than making them normally with the drawback being the new tool or armor would start out at half damaged or used up. (i.e. take a iron pick and one diamond with the master furnace and reforge it to make a diamond pick that is already half used)
Then you could repair the items using the materials they are made of to get them to full strength. Also, you would have to go by a tier system for what materials can be upgraded into what. And personally I don't think wood or leather should be able to be upgraded at all, since then you could really cheap out the system. Maybe have the only materials able to be upgraded be Stone, Gold and Iron, diamond being the highest level of material and therefore cannot be upgraded.
Also, I almost called the Master Furnace the Master Forge a few times, so maybe consider calling it that instead of Master Furnace? Just a small idea that I thought I'd mention.
Pretty sure that has nothing to do with it. Bukkit doesn't use change it's obfuscation between versions like vanilla minecraft does, so a plugin often works from one version to the next. For example there are several plugins that were designed for 1.2 & 1.3 that still work fine. This is because the plugins are minor, and don't interact with any changes made form 1.2 to present. However, since runecraft is less minor, and there were some significant changes from 1.4 to 1.5, I don't know if it works. Unless you actually know what you're talking about, thanks anyway, but I don't really need your... "help".
I hope they add this on the server Nerdia.
SUGGESTION: Maybe some rune that affects wolves? Maybe one that spawns 10 - 20 wolves, being aggresive for 1 minute to everything but you?

With a half decent mob grinder, and the lack of need for TNT make it not uncommon, and the fact that players easily farm obsidian, lava is in no short supply (especially near the core).
Certainly you would need to have a way to make it particularly costly to balance that aspect, TNT and lava worked in flavor due to pressure and heat, but maybe they are wrapped in a gold/iron blocks box to add cost because it would have to cost as much as the diamond you'd get.

That would be 216 iron ingots to make the 24 iron blocks, which is possibly too expensive, but some of them could be replaces with obsidian to change the balance. Not sure what could go in the middle since you can't get a coal block. Could it detect a furnace or chest with coal in it?

It was partly just academic curiosity. The teleporters changing was regards a flavor/roleplay server idea where there is a public system of teleporters but every so often they change their order, include a new one in the ring/ exclude one of the stops, change direction, that kinda thing. All as part of the strange arcane nature of the people who built them. I imagined that would be really complex and is only a narrow niche use so that never being a feature is more than understandable.
The time locked one would have been for a secret area only accessible on a fool moon, or some fluff like that. If there were time based phase blocks like you suggested that would work for that purpose. Make either a wall blocking the teleporter or make the teleporter itself out of the phase blocks, which is a neat trick I've been thinking of using actually.

Well thought up. I could actually use this one.
That is actually really balanced, since clay is hard to come by, you really can only afford to make a few of these around the world.
