This looks awesome! But can someone explain how to open it? I click on the JAR file and then the cmd pops up then goes away :/ I'm using windows 7
Right click and choose Open With->Java something something. If it's not in the list, you'll have to choose the "Choose default program" option at the bottom and find it on your computer.

I did that, but from all the Java options non work is there a chance my Java is messed up?

Of course, there is a chance of that.
But there is also a chance, that you are doing something wrong.
Can you post screenshots of how are you trying to open it?
I think, I'll try to make my own redstone simulator, because this one is very outdated. If you want to collaborate, pm me.
I'll use ActionScript 2 or 3. (I know AS2 better, but Kongregate's Shared Content API is only for AS3)
I can't seem to make a simple Repeater work like it's supposed to in Minecraft (in 1.2_02). Everytime I add a torch on the side, it remains lit when it shouldn't be.
Here's a picture. I got a torch on a block, with redstone next to it, and a block on that. Yet it remains lit;
Is there going to be an addition of the new redstone repeater block just recently implemented? It would help me out a lot when planning redstone circuits.

Baezon does not update this program anymore.
Ah, crap. somebody ought to take over the project.
In the controls, it says middle mouse button to make the touch stick on the side. I've tried bloody everything with the middle mouse button but it won't stick to the side :sad.gif:
EDIT: Oh, sry i didn't see that the Yellow block was a brick :tongue.gif: I thought it was the last one :smile.gif:
i feel dumb. but i cannot figure out how to work this... i open the WinRAR and i see a notepad titled: READ ME. i see a notepad titled: changelog. and i see a peice of paper with a WinRAR icon on it that is titled: MCRedstoneSim.jar. so i figured i was suppose to open the jar. inside are folders titled: sound, META-INF, images and com.
what do i do with this??? i really want to use this but i cant figure it out!
Buttons operate like switches, but only stay on for a moment. t's very easy to delete a switch when you try to simulate a button's delay.
Also, for some reason, things like this aren't working:
= redstone on ground
= a block with a torch on top of it
But
works fine.
Referring to this, since this is the only place so far I've seen it mentioned (there are so many Support forum posts with "redstone" in them, my mind implodes at the thought of skimming through them all), I wanted to ask if anyone knows whether this is planned to be fixed? The first time I made a circuit I tried this (it makes sense that it should work, but it doesn't, and it frustrates me sometimes, because it makes it necessary to add one or two wires just to get the orientation right...)
^ Perhaps you could make the diagram more clear - I'm not sure I can tell what the issue is from that.
The difference is between this not working:
And this working:
The wire on the first one should automatically elbow to the block with the torch on it instead of skimming right past it. It's a lot simpler to work wires past blocks they're not supposed to trigger than it is to work them around to the "right" orientation on the ones they are supposed to trigger.

No, the same thing will happen in minecraft, unless there is a wire block on the top of it.
So the wire must actually be pointing to it.

The only existing redstone simulator that is/will be updated to 1.3 is

I suggest doing what it says.
