If you can't, don't post the damn km-long thing.
It is REALLY annoying for everybody.
Just spent a bit tinkering and finding all the dependancies as 64-bit. I've uploaded my 0.1.2 Win32 build from the other day as well as a 0.1.2 Win64 build to github now.
These are built from TK's 0.1.2 files, so they probably won't work on Intel GPUs. However, they do have the Minecraft 1.3.1 blocks from the updated pymclevel.
Indeed. Mcedit 64-bit last night was the first time I've actually pushed this machine past 50% memory in use, and actually managed to get it up to 76%. 16Gigs
Call me an idiot if you must, but I've always thought of 64-bits just having twice as many bits that could go wrong.
Yes, you just missed that 32/64 bits is exponencial - 32 bits means 2^32 memory addresses (>4 Billion), while 64 bits is 2^64, which is vastly bigger (higher than 18 'quintillons' - equivalent to the square of the previous 4 billion number). Not a good explanation, but the point is that 64 bits isn't 2x32 bits, but 2^32.

thank you for updating this for us. Been waiting for an update for quite some time now and the original developer hasn't updated this. Makes me wonder if the original developer's ever going to update this at all.
I don't get how to use this, I downloaded a .zip and it's got .py's so I installed python and I don't know how to run this on Windows 7. Please help...

My github also has a download of Tectonicus 2.14 with a slight tweak. After editing my map a bunch, I found tectonicus would no longer render it because biome IDs were missing from some chunks. The build in my github fixes the issue. It's a bug in both McEdit (Not saving biome IDs) and Tectonicus (Not tolerating missing biome IDs). I've reported the issue to both projects.
Does anyone happen to have updated mcedit for 1.3.1 Minecraft that is for Max OSX 10.7 or 10.8. Yes i have both version of mac so i dont really care. But i would rather want the 10.7 version of Mac's Mcedit. But if 10.8 version to update is easier, i would rather want that. If there is, please send a link. Thank you.
mc edit crashes when i use fill, copy, and all the terraform tools, is this the ustability, or did i do something wrong? i have three extra filters, but it crashed even before i added them, i have windows 7.
Seems to me you're having the same problem someone six posts above you was having.

Unofficial Tectonicus 2.14b build (Fixes biome ID missing issue)
The Win64 sure loads alot of faster and is alot smoother on my computer than the other version I have tried even the official. Good job. I love my AMD.
I just wanted to thank the other intel graphics users for asking why their MCedit crashed over and over and over and.... Anyways, sooner or later it will annoy someone so much that they fix it just to stop the constant questions about it.
I truly wish I knew how to program in python, I would love to be able to help out and fix it myself and I am amazingly grateful to everyone who has and is working on it. Just... please... if there is a choice between working on some other aspect of MCedit or fixing this, please fix it. I know it is small payment but I am making a fairly epic no rules survival / adventure map and I will personally build a statue of you stretching from ground level to skybox in the middle of a giant ruined temple and make you the vengeful and angry god of my minecraftian world if you just fix things for us long suffering intel users.
