You're welcome, and thanks for the compliment! Sometimes it seems like I'm only hearing about how MCEdit is "clunky and unintuitive" or reading about people who can't even get it up and running, so I'm glad you're at least able to get some use out of it. :smile.gif:
People say it's clunky @_@.
They are insane, this is by far one of the most intuitive programs I've ever seen (on the base level, I mean some of the advanced functions are a bit more dificult, but you don't NEED those).
Ok I figured it out you right click on mc edit then go to show package contents then open the contents folder then open MCEditData thin open filters. I hope this helps anyone else.
GordonChin: I found out my server-based generator really doesn't do well when you ask it to create 9 million chunks. I figured out why and did the appropriate fixes, but it's going to be slower than MLG because it's intended to "paste" the generated chunks into your world from a temporary one. I ought to change it to be exactly like MLG when you use "Create New World" to avoid the extra paste.
keodark: The white cubes are TileTicks, a new kind of data added in RC2 and 1.0.0. It's okay to edit with them around. It's just going to be slow until I put in an optimized NBT reader. You can make the ticks go away by going to the area in-game to make them process.
Vechs: Try the new draggable brush in the test builds. :tongue.gif:
end11: Excellent, glad to hear you could figure it out on your own.
matioshka: Testing229 now has key controls to pan the camera: IJKL by default.

Thanks, codewarrior. I can tell that your generator was doing something fancy with the maps but when generating a large area it brought my computer to its knees each time I tried. I had to reboot just so I could free up the resources again. (My computer is a couple years old.)
I'm cool with it taking longer to generate, as long as it plays nice with the rest of my computer environment. :-0
It has generic support for 1.0.0, like it's not going to crash or erase the new blocks, and you can place them using manual block ID selection, but it doesn't have automatic support for them. And you can't edit The End easily.
Unrelated question, can someone explain the chunk relighting process? I just did some operations on a quite large map and the recalculation is taking ages, with the bar constantly resetting. I know this is what it's supposed to do, but could someone explain?
Edit: Six hours and counting!
Edit 2: Ok, nevermind, I looked at the console that opens up along with MCEdit. It's doing the world in batches and each bar fill is a lighting refinement pass. It's on batch 27/64. I guess another 6 hours await me.
I'm having a really weird bug. You know how you edit the contents of a chest? For some reason, I can't put in the green or gold music discs. Has this happened to you?
How do I delete my world's end dimension? I want to visit it from scratch, as the boss battle does not trigger when I enter the end, due to me creating the world in early 1.9 pr.
Guys! WAIT A GOD DAMN MINUTE! Codewarrior has a life like some of US on this forum. We do a lot of other things outside Minecraft and coding. Give him some time. 1.0.0 got released yesterday. Updating and adding stuff to a code isn't easy at all. Current MCEdit isn't supporting 1.0.0 yet not even 1.9's preleases. It still at 1.8.1 for the moment so you can't visit the End and add stuff that are in 1.0.0. Give him some time. Patience....
Would any of you mind trying out the latest testing version? I've made a couple tweaks to try to get more information when this happens.
Sorry I didn't respond sooner. I haven't seen your reply and somehow the notification didn't reach me either. I am happy to say that I downloaded version 33 just moments ago and it seems to work fine for MC 1.9pre5. At least it opens, and I get the view of my map. Now I have to figure out how it works, but I'll get the hang of it! Here are some diamonds for you for this awesome program you've created!

The End is stored in your "./saves/[World]/DIM1/" folder. So I guess if you remove that folder it will be created from scratch once you visit a portal again! Do not confuse this folder with the "./saves/[World]/DIM-1/" folder, because this is the nether.
I placed a Mob Spawner, but it currently doesn't support spawning Mooshrooms. I hope the new version for MC 1.0.0 will support having Mooshroom Spawners, as Mooshrooms rock!!!!!
You know, you really should put the Super Hostile series in the hall of fame.
I mean, if you actually update that thing. I don't think I've seen it updated since I first downloaded the program...
Not that that's a real problem. But if you do update it, Vechs maps should totally get on there.

Your program is awesome, you are awesome.
You lose your keys.
Someone asks you "When are you going to find them ???"
Just one of the inhabitants of planet Earth.

im working on a huge project here.
Okay, that's friggin awesome.
I love it. Will be very convenient and save a good bit of time from clicking constantly.
