Sorry to necropost so badly, but is there any update on this?
Doubt it, Parthon has been dead for a while now. Did I post the city he generated for me yet?
Edit: ah, yes, I did. viewtopic.php?pid=42709#p42709
You'll have to replace the leaves with glass tho, if you want to.
The fact that he said the update messed up his work is sort of not beleiveable (how would it mess it up?). Also, Im not quite sure why posting a file could ever take him so long. Everyone else here releases in alpha.
I was all due to work on the project during december, but then I got a job, and it was holiday season and this project was the one thing I had to let go of to prevent myself from going insane.
If anyone is skilled with C++ and wants the complete source code, here it is. If I were to continue, I'd want to start over in java or C#.
Getting it working is complex and it requires unzipping the server_level file, renaming it to server_level.in and then hexediting it so it's the right dimensions to work with the generator. Then after it's generated, re-zip it and put it in the right folder. There's no instructions because it was pretty much a hack written in a week.
It is a good basis for learning how to work with city generation in minecraft though, and I hope it's useful to someone.
I will love who ever could use the code add on some nice gui that someone who has a brain but can't code would use/figure out.
But thats just a wish :wink.gif:

I've concluded it is a hoax. Unfortunately.ha.
pff... that sucks. A LOT.
How did you come to that conclusion?
Contains Pachebel's Canon made with noteblocks, a working Rubik's cube made with pistons, and the ultimate TNT cannon.

Been here a while.
Working on porting it to Java so I can add more functionality and a user interface.
