essentially a friendly blaze if built, but if spawned regularly they're hostile
of course, they'd need to look different from blazes
built with a pillar of 2 forged cinncinnasite blocks with a wither skull on top
nether temples for the nether jungle and nether pyramids for the gravel desert
wartlings
spawn in the wart forest
semi-passive(passive until attacked) crab-like creatures with nether wart growing out of their backs
drop carapace occasionally, which can be crafted into carapace armor
carapace armor has slightly better stats than leather, and gives fire resistance and regular resistance when the full set is worn
nether wart soup
essentially mushroom soup of the nether
nether mushroom cows
spawn in the grassland biome and the mushroom forest, can be milked for nether wart soup, passive until attacked
mycolids
spawn in the wart forest and the mushroom forest
three varieties(nether wart, brown and red), all aggressive
silverfish-type enemies that inflict a variety of effects, depending on the type
red ones inflict weakness, brown ones inflict slowness, and nether wart ones inflict nausea
drop their respective fungi

Black Apple Horse: (Blapple Horse?) Fire horses and Nightmares from Mocreatures and Wings, Horns and Hooves are all so cliche and over done. Tamed using black apples it can also wade through lava? (dark purple all over with the stem colour as the mane!
Magma torches: Since we want people to stay in the nether as much as possible, how about craftable magma torches using the magma flower or an item dropped from magma blocks kind of like flint from gravel
Nether plains: More open part of the nether, Would make it easier to build without the terrain being so amplified, could also spawn cow and sheep nether variants?
Scorching Biome: A hotter part of the nether that has a more bluer colour scheme. Could have a specific dungeon/stronger mobs/special loot but needs a high level fire protection enchant to delve through it otherwise it could start burning players. Kind of like twilight forest the screen could go more red

Мне многие новые текстуры не очень нравятся, поэтому если кто то хочет их использовать - можно скачать официальный ресурспак. Только на некоторых блоках будет слегка отличаться, на том же мицелии например, но это не очень страшно. Можно сделать мини-ресурспак как аддон для новых текстур. Возможно я займусь чем то таким на досуге.

new mob suggestion to spawn in cities: Mimic
the mimic would spawn somewhat uncommonly in the ancient cities and would look like a spawnpoint statue upon first approach, however as you came near it would spring to life, it's eyes would glow a bright red and it would make coarse sliding sounds like stone and metal grinding together as it moved towards you methodically. it would have a lot of health and be difficult to kill, however upon killing the creature it may drop some of the material it is made of as well as a bright golden-colored blade of cincinnasite,
I’ve seen a lot of mods early in development, and let me tell you: this one is one of the best looking and most promising ones I’ve seen. Here are some things I’ll ask. Some of the enviroments, especially the nether jungle seem just a tad... messy. This isn’t really a huge gripe or even really one at all, just my opinion. Also, some suggestions include: a cold biome like the polar chasm in bop and netherex, except more closed off to the rest of the nether. Maybe some new potions or enchantments that would match the nether theme. Some wither-related items, and possibly a improved/stronger wither boss, or some mobs that would fit a demonic theme, like in lycanites mobs. Sorry for the length, I don’t know how to do that spoiler thing that you click and it shows information
Trying to farm glowstone off of lucis mushrooms, but the spore drop rate seems very low. Even with a fortune 3 axe im gaining back less spores than im planting. Is there a trick to this? As far as I can tell the maximum size they will grow to is 3x2 so im using 3 block wide plots.
polomitics, thanks for your feedback and suggestions. I perceive the Nether not like Hell, but other dimension, so I will not add ice biomes or something. Unique mobs maybe.

stylzm, nether mycelium could not grow on other blocks (in other case it will cover all nearby biomes). So I decided it must drop itself.
