Looking for a drug mod for the latest Minecraft versions? Narcotics X is a brand new Minecraft mod that is in development for the latest versions of Minecraft. Narcotics X has three key features when it comes to narcotics. Producing, dealing, and consuming.
This mod makes for a great addition for multiplayer based modpacks or even singleplayer where you could sell them to villagers. Unlike other drug mods this one is going after a more realistic approach to offer a better mod. You won't find meth ore in this mod
+ Added Diazepam (Which is commonly used to treat a wide range of conditions including anxiety, panic attacks, insomnia, etc)
What will this do in the mod? There will be a sort of fear level which comes from walking in very dark areas and also being surrounded by lots of monsters which Diazepam will help control that.
+ Added Caffeine (Increases activity in the brain and induces temporary improvements including enhanced alertness, wakefulness, and locomotion.)
What will this do in the mod? Will be able to sprint for longer times by not reducing as much stamina when sprinting, slightly faster movement, and possibly a slightly faster cooldown on sword swings. Do note that once it starts to ware off you would get more sluggish which will do the opposite of these effects slightly as well.
+ Added Cocaine (Produces typical stimulant effects such as stimulation, disinhibition, thought acceleration, and euphoria)
What will this do in the mod? Shares some of the same effects caffeine does but slightly more potent and for euphoria your fear level won't drop as fast. Need to think of some more in-game effects for euphoria, if you have any ideas for it please put it in the comments.
+ Added Detailed Lores (Useful information like what kind of drug it is, duration times, and more. You can see it currently implemented in the image spoiler)
Some of these things you might like, some you might not. There will be a very detailed config for how fast these levels go down or just straight out disable specific features like fear etc. Lastly when is the mod releasing? Currently all that is left is implementing drug mechanics for the current drugs I have added and then the first alpha will be released. You can expect it before christmas.
+ Drug Consumption Backend (I've completed the Drug back end system for switching between states like the onset, peak, and after effects. This is a modular system which allows for easy addition of new drugs and possibly will also be made into a public api for other modders to make their own drugs or get information about currently consumed drugs etc)
+ Updated Thread (The thread was rather bland, so I whipped up a quick banner and rewrote the thread)

+ Completed Caffeine for Alpha (Increases speed, increases more at peak, slightly faster then normal at come down. Will have more effects once features like stamina are added)
Today was more of a backend code today with no pictures really to show. I've added a new poll to the thread to look for what kind of currency you guys would like for the selling and buying drugs from npcs to be. Finally I'd like to announce that I'll be releasing this mods first alpha version next friday
+ Added Lighter (Higher durability Flint And Steel which could be used like one and also used to light bongs etc)
I'm sorry that I missed the first release date for the Alpha but I've been rather busy with christmas, early next week for sure will have the alpha build. I'm just working on adding some of the last few additions and then we'll be good. To those who celebrate christmas, merry christmas.
