We've seen it all before. Mods with xy amounts of dimensions and their todo list is always the same. Boss fight, abandoned village structures or ruins etc, enchantments, potions, dungeons.
Here is what I tell all these modders that start up stuff like this:
Stick to one dimension. Do it properly. Do it unique. Give it alot of detail. Dont add in stuff that makes the player OP (invincible armor, overpowered weapons). And for gods sake dont do some cheap bossfight where you just punch the hell out of the boss forever, like its done in the Aether mod and pretty much any other mod I've seen.
That Skylands Style dimension you have there is a good start. Stick to it. Dont make a cold or water nether kind of thing, stick to one concept and do it properly. Your screenshot of the Lythrm at night looks pretty good, that is actually the light level I'd use for day if I were you, and then make the whole dimension kind of dark and mysterious themed, with strange trees and creatures and everything. Dont rip off others, but sure let yourself be inspired by them. For example ores with inverted gravity like the gravitite in the Aether that falls upwards are a great concept for Skyland dimensions... you could make liquids that flow upwards, Mobs that walk on the ceiling below the island... so much you can do to make this awesome.
The moment you split your attention across multiple dimensions you can no longer achieve the amount of detail and the quality of gameplay for either of them that you couldve achieved if you wouldve sticked to just one dimension done properly.
I with you success with this, but its not gonna be successful with its current concept sadly.
No matter all the awesome stuff that is planned.
What keeps users playing your mod is not awesome boss fights or great dungeons. Once they have explored them once and defeated them once they feel like they've done everything. What keeps them playing is the beautiful environment. Or a constant threat by monsters that forces them to only progress slowly and play very careful, plan their moves pretty much. The moment you give them the feeling that they've beaten the goal you set, the moment they will stop playing. Thats the mistake the Aether has done in the past with the Gold dungeon. You defeated the sun spirit and there was nothing left to do. And a lack of decorative blocks and detail on the flora and fauna kept you away from playing just because it was a beautiful environment, which it couldve been if they wouldve invested more time in that.
Have a nice day,

(been in the modding scene since 2011, I know what I'm talking about. I was a member of Shado47's Team Melanistic, which was a modding team started on the 10th of February in 2011 and disbanded sometime in 2015 with its members partially reforming into Axanthic Game Studios)
Edit: Dont get me wrong. You seem to be a really nice guy from your profile pic and you also do have alot of potential in this project. I was writing this text because I want you to succeed, not because I dont believe in you being able to get it done properly.
did you code this from scratch? either way nice work!!!
Yeah I totally get you. Which is why its in alpha 0.2.1 because there's so much planned. And the reason I made this is cause AoA and divine RPG are outdated and getting old so there needs to be something new. Of course I'm gonna make the lythrm really really good with crops generated, lots of ores to accompany you throughout the game, virtually the over world but done over but a step up from it. I'm gonna add so much before its first major release. Im looking for a team right now to make it the best I possibly can cause I'm just one person working on this. Thanks for the feedback. Always appreciated. Remember its in EARLY EARLY EARLY ALPHA STAGES so its like barely anything of what I'm gonna have.
P.S.: lythrm has no sky but I might change that

Well that is nice to hear. Will follow your progress here and lets hope its actually going to get as good as this sounds.
Have a nice day!

oh i see - nice idea
I think I got something very nice to share with you, that could help you alot to make this mod really great. It is sealed away into my vault of code treasures collected throughout the years. If you give me your skype contact data, we could see if we can make use of that stuff.
