This mod tries to make Minecraft a bit more realistic and still fun to play.
My modification was part of a project we did in school but even if this project is in regards of school terms finished, I still want to continue this mod as it is not just something I have to do but because I want to do it.
Essentially I want to make Minecraft a bit more realistic by adding new materials und changing some recipes which are in my opinion just too absurd. One example would be the bucket. We added metal plates that can be arranged like the regular bucket recipe. The old one does not exist anymore so you have to make it the new way. Almost every ore must be brocken down first, giving you some chunks of rock and some chunks of the ore itself which then can be melted down. Stone itself can be made in little bricks which then form the known stone brick blocks. Those are just a few examples of changes I am aiming at.
Things this mod adds:
Assembler | A machine capable of producing new object with provided resources
Disassembler | A machine used to split things into their resources for further use
Copper | A metal used for constructing new tools and weapons, as well as new armor
Tin | A metal used for constructing new tools and weapons, as well as new armor
Bronze |A metal used for constructing new tools and weapons, as well as new armor. Gathered by using tin and copper.
Silver | A metal used for constructing new tools and weapons, as well as new armor.
Recipes | We add a lot of recipes which will replace previous one because we either considered them unrealistic or we added something to replace them.
Things this removes:
A lot of recipes we replaced or considered unrealistic.
I am currently searching for one or two entusiastic people who are willing to join me shaping this mod.
Currently i mostly need someone with programming skills who maybe even can teach me a few things about mod making.
