As for different ages, we could start in the Stone Age, which is what this mod is doing now, then eventually advance to the bronze age, then further to the iron age, and any further than that would be decided by your mod team.
The first concepts when this mod was made were to go from Early Stone > Late Stone > Copper > Bronze > Iron > Steel > Late Steel / The Dawn of History
We might continue using these ideas. The idea has always, from the very start, been to go past the stone age.
This looks very interesting.
Ill throw some Ideas in.
-No more Zombies, Skeletons or Creepers. Better be hunted by Wolves and such.
-Neanderthals. They could form Tribes of their own and fight Human tribes or be in the same tribes together, depending on certain circumstances. Diffrent Looks and more cold resistence than normal Humans, and of course they would only eat meat.
-Campfires for cooking, and Tents out of fur or leaves, that can be put back into the Inventory.
-The player beeing able to freeze to the death, if he is not near any source of heat or protected enough from the Cold thru walls or clothes.
-Craftable Totems that the tribes Shaman could use to "Summon the Spirits of Nature", wich will protect the Tribe from diseases and increase the amount of meat and fruit the members of the tribe can get per Animal/Plant.
-Diseases the Player and other Humans can get, that could lead to death if not cured by the Shaman.
-The Possibility to join a tribe, become the Chief and manage the Tribe.
-Tribe roles such as Hunter (kills Animals, gathers meat bones and fur) Gatherer (Gathers Fruit, mushrooms and roots as well as sticks rocks and wood) Firemaker (Keeps the Camp lit up and warm) Warrior (Defends the Tribe from Predators and other Tribes and attack other tribes on command of the Chief) Shaman (Cures dieseases, heals injuries, summones the Spirits of Nature [mentioned above]) Farmer ([unlockable though tecnological progress] Plants, waters, harvests and replants Crops, Feeds, breeds, milks... Farm Animals) Blacksmith ([unlockable trough tecnological progress] Crafts metal tools based on avalable ressources) Builder ([unlockable throug tecnological progress] builds and repairs Houses out of avalable ressources at commant of the Chief) Miner ([unlockable through tecnological progress] Diggs mineshafts and collects ores, building Stone and other mineable things) that can be changed anytime by the Chief.
-the Abbility to merge two tribes by killing the NPC Chief.
-Humans and Neanderthals can have Children. (Not nesseserily with each other)
-Way to domisticate Mammouths.
-Allow NPC Tribes to build villages as soon the Player has a City, but no NPC Cities.
-Way to change the Equippment of the Tribesmen.
What do you think?

Roughly 95% of Minecraft
players hate Villagers and would be very happy if they were removed. If

1. All vanilla mobs will be replaced, or removed. The three you mentioned above will be removed. Mobs like wolves, pigs, and cows will be replaced.
2. Human races have been briefly discussed, but for now there will be hostile normal human tribes.
3. Definitely campfires, and there will be tents, but they will work differently to how you said.
4. I think I mentioned a temperature management system in the OP
5. We're still deciding on whether to implement magic or not.
6. Diseases might be implemented, but if there's enough to worry about without them, and themod gets too complicated, then we might not have them.
7. Tribe forming is planned.
8. Tribe roles would probably be a thing if tribes are added.
9. Maybe, but I don't know how we'd make it work.
10. The mammoth image has a saddle on one of the mammoths
11. The plan is to have the NPC tribes always one step ahead of the player, until the player reaches the final stage and is ahead.
12. Probably.

Will the Player have a Human Model and Skin? And can he choose if he is Male or Female?
And about the Shaman and the Totem: You can of course decide to not include it. It is only a somewhat proven Fact that even Neanderthals and Homo Erectus believed in an Afterlife and in Animal spirits, given that Tools and clothing was found in most of the Graves from that time, cave Painting had Symbols of Animals for certain Events. A bird represents death, for exemple. (The Soul flying away like a Bird, or crows eating the Body of the Dead. The Birds sitting on the Corpses on those Cave Paintings are never hunted or pointed to)
So it is save to assume that most tribes had teir shaman who was a bridge between our World and the Spirit world they believed in.
If you decide that it is not real, than the Shaman and the Totems would be just living (in case of the Shaman) Deco.
I never said that the Shaman should throw fire charges and sommon litening strikes or rise the dead. That would not fit, I think.

We've already released our Fanged Cat / Homotherium model. Woolly Rhinos and Elasmotherium are planned. I'd rather have suggestions for what mobs could do over actual mobs, as we have a lot of things planned.

I Like The Grey Wolf,But It Looks Similiar To EcoCraft Wolf :|
They were made by the same person, so of course they would look similar.

There hasn't been much further conversation about it, but we still have lots of time to plan things.

I'd suggest some feline top predators, such as the cave lion or homotherium. Also woolly rhinos because theyre just awesome
Wooly Rhino,Is The Best!

For the cows you can use a species of cow called Aurochs.Just a suggestion.
Aurochs will be added, and after breeding them for a while you will unlock the domestic cow.
