This mod actually has a very big number of people interested in it especially after the cpt's version was being developed many people would love to use it

I think you really should give a high priority of this project; if you made a good working release of this, and just manage to make some acquaintenance to it, people all around the wold will use your mod!

Really disappointed to see how much trouble people have had with these mods and that no one's been able to get the feature going feasibly, (including Mojang) after more than four years of users campaigning for colored light. I'm new to MC; started playing this year, and was bothered to see colored glass not tinting light, especially after learning how to relay blinking redstone lamps. (Fun but laggy, heh.)
(In regard to a mod that gives realistic animal genetics):
Would you really rather have bees that make diamonds and oil with magical genetic blocks?

This guy started something awesome, but he actually has a life. To most people, priorities in life do not include Minecraft. Don't get mad at him for things he can't control, like limited free time.

Even for a feature the creator really wants this is a lot of work we are talking about. Work done for free. A hobby. And basically anyone would prefer to do something they feel is appreciated rather than working for many hours and no one caring. So of course if the thread gets more attention the creator will feel this time is spent well instead of wasted.
glad to see there is still some momentum on this front, I have been distracted too much to even try running a server, though I am still considering it, a giant server, with a few dozen machines behind it so we can fill up a whole gigabit connection off google fiber LOL

Dagnabbit! I was looking at the Colored Lights Core github and found a link here. Now this is abandoned, too? And before it even got a release? Is there *any* way to get different light sources to produce different colors in 1.7.10 while using the 1558 Forge build?

I would possibly be willing to rewrite this mod for MC 1.12 or higher if I had time. 1.7.10 is ancient history, though. It's fine if you play it, but don't expect any mod support.
