Its more of a 2D Metroid thing, but for rooms where the upgrade isent immediately apparent or hidden in plain sight in larger rooms, mainly missile and energy tanks. The x-ray visor would be useful for finding them if you have it, otherwise intuition and luck or power bomb spamming. Again, its a map building utility, but i suppose they could world gen? (i wouldn't, but its a thought) In their un-hidden state, i figured they could have that glass-cased look. It would make for some neat Chozo statues too.
Hey guys, do any of you know a good, cheap webhosting service? I'm looking to move this mod to my own website so that pages can be formatted to look nicer and be more helpful.
Wordpress? Only $6 a month for a custom domain name and no Wordpress ads.
Let me be more specific. It needs to be HTML5, custom HTML supported, a fair amount of monthly bandwidth (probably no less than 1GB/month), allow for file hosting of sizes up to 50MB, have at least 200MB storage available, and allow for a custom domain.
I've run into 2 issues, first is that the shaders make the world invisible, do I need another mod for them to work?
the second is that installing magical crops gives this error in the crashlog "cpw.mods.fml.common.LoaderException: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: metroidcubed3/compat/magicalcrops/ChozoCompoundCrop"
1. Either turn off shaders in Options->Metroid Cubed 3 Options, or install Optifine (installing Optifine may or may not work, it works for some).
2. could you post a FULL crash log? The class still exists for me.
I tried to use 0.3BW and when I go into a world all of the blocks are completely invisible. I can see through them but I can still place and break them.

I only have the metroid mod installed. If I give a light level to the block via a light source the blocks will appear. without light the don't show up. this is only happening with vanilla blocks it seems.

i kno I'm saying if you install optifine it will fix the issue
I now have a new problem. The sky is flickering and everything is really dark, this didn't happen when I first added optifine, but now it keeps happening.
It even happens with only this mod and optifine.
Sorry about the double post, happened by accident.
Not sure if this is related, but I occasionally see "opengl error: 1282(invalid operation)" pop up in the chat bar.

not really sure what causes the open gl thing but it's never been an issue thats lasted as for the sky seems like an issue with the shaders I'd wait til fir can give you an answer

Thank you for the reply though.

Try Wix. Last time I checked, you could host for free.

I am using the most recent version of this mod and 1.7.10_0.1 of magical crops.
The shader issue happened even with only the mods listed for the server installed alongside this.

I put it on pastebin so it doesn't make the post really long

It appears that version of MagicalCrops is not compatible. Is that the LATEST 1.7.10 version?

the only newer ones are beta releases, not full releases.
trying with the most recent beta
Update.
It's working now with the most recent beta.

I used the betas because the latest non-beta is very outdated.

oh ok thanks
this mod uses it's own shaders in order to give the best possible experience, but they can be disabled at any time in Options->Metroid Cubed 3 Options

I installed optifine(most recent version) and it fixed the shader issue for me btw. I had to go to work so couldn't respond about that earlier.

yeah, I don't know why the shaders do that sometimes, the sky will flicker an bit and blocks go dark for some reason.
