Have you considered adding the Shinespark? You could make it so you run, the Speed Booster engages, and then you press sneak to store the charge. You then look in the direction that you want to go and launch (Maybe around 20 meters?) in that direction.
What if multi-directional (horizontally speaking) motion was only some un-alterable (mid-spark) movement in a parabolic manner (so as to limit it going one way too far and hitting things not intended to hit like other M is) and vertical gain is highly limited, and also, downward/CTRL shine-sparking would be.. something to think of. Basically, other M manner. =3
Something good to think about in my opinion =-D.
Nova beam pack (toggle able I hope?) is a thought =3
or make it a low hit head-shooting weaker-heat power beam fire rate thing
Power Beam Damage is 1 hit per hit, nova can be 0.5 hit per hit, and 1.25-3 on a head-shot, and (could) cause minimal fire duration and can mine metals like iron, gold, bendenzium(?), chozo, emerald(?), and phazon whole (no smelting), but takes a pickaxe's strength doing so. Non metallic items and most other blocks are un-minable, like lapis lazuli, Redstone (I think), and non-specified mod ores like glactacraft and the like.
Fairly high in expensive, and its "super missile" is a single inventory styled slot holding a single pickaxe, where it uses said pickaxe (and its enchantments) and use it like a toggle on pick (idk the input, maybe add a sub-selection near the beam) with it, How about that?
Or, make it's super beam a flamethrower that actually uses missiles to weld broken down ... things? (I actually lost thought here 0-0) anvils..
anyhow, the beam selection idea and sub-selection system seems cool, one mode is to select weapon mode,
instead of all that, why not simply hold down the [?] button while using it to mine things like a wooden axe (or a stone one anyway),
Would you add the Federation guns, as well? As a sort of cheaper, but weaker, variant to the normal Arm Cannon?
Also maybe they could be like Iron, compared to the normal Chozo metal used for everything in the mod.
actually i thought about having the zero suit in game, because you cannot start off the mod until you have a good amount of materials, so in the meanwhile you make the zero suit and the paralyzer which should be much easier to make.
while we are on the topic of armors it might be cool to also have space pirate armor. I was thinking weavels armor, and since the energy sword is already in the game there will be no need to make a weapon for the set. Maybe have it so that you can get energy tanks, and have a speed buff for the full set. so it would be better at close combat than the chozo sets, but less effective from far away.
I've lost a patreon it seems, so I'm having to downgrade the server to 2GB again. This may or may not negatively affect the server performance, so until I can obtain a higher monthly income you will just have to deal with any issues this may cause.
EDIT: unfortunately, the server downgrade has caused any chests within spawn chunks to lose all their items AGAIN, despite me setting the server jar BEFORE starting the server back up. Blame this on GGServers while I submit a ticket on this.
In the meantime, you can ask the staff to help you get your items back if you lost some because of this.
After over a month, Version 0.3Br is out! The main reason for the delay was waiting to get my new computer, which was for the most part 2 weeks of thinking I'll get it within the next couple days XD. Anyways, this mod fixes a lot of shader issues, but the elusive "enchanted items don't render the glint" still evades me. Pls help.
Also in this update is the long-awaited Tinker's Construct support. Because of this, I have started a poll concerning whether to add Tinker's Construct to the public server. Be sure to vote, so I can determine where people stand on this! Every vote counts!
If I may make a suggestion...
As we know, Phazon is a very strong power source. Because of this, maybe the Phazon beam from the PED suit's hypermode could be used to power machinery like the wave beam, but with a higher amount of charge to the machine. To balance this, maybe when the player begins to use the Phazon beam to provide power to something, due to the instability of Phazon as a power source, there is a chance that a surge occurs that puts the player into Corrupt hypermode. Over time the chance for a surge increases, and if the player decides to keep trying to power their machinery with the Phazon beam in Corrupt hypermode, if another surge occurs it could very well kill them because of the power of the surge and the corruption caused by the Phazon.
