Thanks, I just thought that almost all of the stuff u can do in it relies on crops, and it adds so many trees, vines, and ground plants, even herbs!
It just felt like a big step in minecraft agriculture. =D Keep up the good work devs!

Here is another cat because I want to.
I really like your suggestion too, so unless we can think of a better name by the time of the next update, we might use that if you dont mind.
For Gods' sake hold the next update for a looooong time or make the changes "current game compatible^
The next update may take us a bit more time that previous updates since i'm bust looking for a job and NotSoSpartan is starting university now, so enjoy the current update to your hearts content
Okay, so I'm now the proud owner of a shiny new happy harvester bot and hydroponic pods too, problem is I don't have a clue how to make them work because just like Ikea stuff they came without the manual
Anybody?
first you need to place a chest on the back of the harvester bot, and then put the hydroponics block above, below, either side, or on the upper or lower corners, when you place the harvest bot, you can right click on it and it'lll give you a clue on whats wrong if there is a problem.
Note to others, won't work with grapes, hops and vanilla, obviously because they grow 2 blocks high?
that's good :3
well, actually because i cant call their render functions from a tile entities render functions as they are rendered completely differently to normal blocks
Found a visual glitch with the mod. The block graphics for some of the machines are blank, both in NEI and on the crafting bench (see pics). I can confirm its not the resource pack I am using.

"We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far."
Wow. I think this mod should be in the main section because in size it rivals pam's harvestcraft and is the biggest agriculture mod for 1.8 I've seen so far, even though it's technically not finished.
Howdy, firstly i'd like to apologise for my long absence, i've been very busy with work so i haven't had much time at all working on this mod, and likewise NotSoSpartan has been swamped with work from university.
But enough about me, you wanna know about the mod, i'll be looking into some of the bugs posted since the last update, and i'll hopefully have them fixed shortly with a small bug fix update, after that i'll be working on the next update slowly, it won't be out for a while since my life is very busy at the moment, but i plan on adding some more cool blocks to play around with which i hope you will all like, especially if you like the happy harvest bots.
Wow, I just love your hydrothermal veins :D! Your mod is just wonderful.
There are a few things which still work a bit funny, but the whole mod is really great.
It works for me with several mods including yours (Forge 11.14.3.1513, NEI 1.0.5.104, Backpack 2.0.1-1.8.x, Fast Leave Decay 1.0, Harder Peaceful 1.8.0 because I play on peaceful but I want the hunger to decay, JourneyMap 1.8-5.1.1b5 and Peaceful Plus 1.8).
I still have not figured out yet how to use the frying pan, but I am sure I will :p.
Among the funny things I noticed, the palm sappling (and the coconut and banana sapplings) uproots from a block of sand in an ocean biome after a few seconds - one minute. It also sometimes make another sappling pop up. But it grows ok if using bonemeal. The other things are minor visual things at the moment.
Thank you for this huge work!
P.S.: I haven't found any avocadoes, kiwis, lime and seaweed yet and I still don't know how to get a soaked book.
Hi there, thanks for the feedback. I'm glad you like the hydrothermal veins, i had a lot of fun implementing them.
with the frying pan, the only recipe there is atm is to make pancakes which you need pancake mix and vegetable oil to make a pancake, the mix goes in the bottom slot and the vegetable oil goes in the top slot, and like the teapot, it should be placed on top of a heater
Keep searching for the avocados, kiwis and limes, they are out there somewhere, but with all the different types of fruit trees, they can be quite rare, and the best place to look for seaweed is in a beach biome, it looks very similar to kelp. as for soaked books, you can find them in sunkern ships in reef and kelp forest biomes.
Do you have a Wikia page for this mod? And if not, can I make one for you?
Unless someone else has beaten you too it, i'm afraid i don't have one yet, if want to you can make one and i'll include a link in the main thread post.

I love the mod, adds a lot of variety.
I do struggle with teas though. I have yet to make tea in survival because I can either find tons of teapots and teapot pottery guides OR I can find mugs but I have yet to have both without getting completely lost(and I have gone out 3k blocks in every direction and decreased the rarity of abandoned farmhouses and such). Maybe add something so we can research pottery guides we have not found.
I was wondering how the lobster cages work. Do they need to be in a particular biome or near a particular block? I tried putting them in water and I have yet to capture at lobsters yet.
Love this Mod! The only thing I've noticed is since I use this mod in my server and the server runs 24/7, the herbs grow like weeds. Is there anyway i could control the spawn rate of them? Or maybe in an update fix it so they only spawn in clusters. That would be really helpful because then there wouldnt be any massive fields of just herbs. Other than that I love all the features of this mod! Keep up the good work and cant wait to see some further updates.

In the confige file you can set the spawn rate AND the spread rate of not just herbs but also coral and other things.

And now for some things that I'm less proud of:
I just took the Minecraft Noob test! Check out what I scored. Think you can beat me?!

Where can I download older version of the mod? I would really like to play it on 1.7.10

they should grow in any biome, but only grow on sand.
hmm, i'll have a look into that then
