But I dunno; a few skills seem like a real chore to level; one great example is the Meltdowner skill that fires a big laser that destroys most blocks in front of it. It has a really long windup time and does the same amount of damage as the very first skill in that set, and setting all that aside it's really not very practical for anything to begin with seeing as there is a more controllable and less destructive alternative when it gets to 30%. And yet for around every use (which tends to be few and far between), it only puts it up around 0.2 or 0.3%.
i have an idea for a power rf touch you can charge things by touching them if they use rf this counts for stuff in your inv too at first it's a super low rate but you can lvl it up then it's great

I can't seem to figure out how to level up Brain Course. It says to train my brain, but using my powers doesn't seem to do anything. Also, can I maybe have an explanation on how to use the Shift Teleport Skill? I use the ability and it does nothing. No matter what I aim at it just auto-cancels itself.
EDIT: I also have this crash when I updated to the newest version. I assume it has to do with the GUI changes. I'd also like to mention that this happens without Optifine, since that sometimes will affect things.

I found something that probably needs to be fixed, so the abilities Brain course, Brain course advanced and Mind course, seem to only gain exp when your other abilities gain exp, so if you max out every single other ability before you learn those 3, you can't max them out
Question... Are certain things required to get different skill sets? I've tried doing a bunch of testing (which takes up a lot of time with how many times I need to use everything), but the only skill set I ever seem to get is Meltdowner.
Has anyone figured out how to use the magnetic manipulation ability yet?
Also really loving the mod so far. I do have one small suggestion though. Can you try and set up power compatibility for the current charging ability? Its fairly simple to set up a wireless node to charge and then output rf but being able to charge rf batteries or tools directly would be nice.

That would be fun to mess with in a Minecraft world either completely stop your enemies while you kill them, or send them flying across blocks unable to get a grip!

Hi there! Sorry for not keeping up the information on the thread, here's some exciting news for you:
We've decided that the next version will be the first formal release (1.0.0) of AcademyCraft, which means a lot. We have implemented the ability category that everybody is asking for: Vector Manipulation! Also we have done some major GUI overhaul, to make the whole mod's art style more consistent. We are now working full speed on polishing this and there, and the next release is perhaps not far.

And glad you like the mod! Unfortunately we are fully into developing the mod and will not have that much time to setup a server in near future. I think perhaps modders' job is to make mods stable and fun so that everyone will want to establish server using them. >)

I found something that probably needs to be fixed, so the abilities Brain course, Brain course advanced and Mind course, seem to only gain exp when your other abilities gain exp, so if you max out every single other ability before you learn those 3, you can't max them out
Question... Are certain things required to get different skill sets? I've tried doing a bunch of testing (which takes up a lot of time with how many times I need to use everything), but the only skill set I ever seem to get is Meltdowner.

Has anyone figured out how to use the magnetic manipulation ability yet?
Also really loving the mod so far. I do have one small suggestion though. Can you try and set up power compatibility for the current charging ability? Its fairly simple to set up a wireless node to charge and then output rf but being able to charge rf batteries or tools directly would be nice.
Any more news for this amazing mod?

So like, Will there be NPCS using abilitys? I really don wanna fight just players as I'm noob at PVP lol.
I am really enjoying this mod, thank you for making this and keep up the great work, just one question though. Are you going to add Friction manipulation to the game where that one girl, seike was it? well she tries to take away accelerators' friction rendering him immobile.
That would be fun to mess with in a Minecraft world either completely stop your enemies while you kill them, or send them flying across blocks unable to get a grip!

That's exactly what i was thinking xD Or maybe just take away friction from your feet or the ground, removing the force that resists motion and just move super quick.
Hi there! Sorry for not keeping up the information on the thread, here's some exciting news for you:
We've decided that the next version will be the first formal release (1.0.0) of AcademyCraft, which means a lot. We have implemented the ability category that everybody is asking for: Vector Manipulation! Also we have done some major GUI overhaul, to make the whole mod's art style more consistent. We are now working full speed on polishing this and there, and the next release is perhaps not far.

And glad you like the mod! Unfortunately we are fully into developing the mod and will not have that much time to setup a server in near future. I think perhaps modders' job is to make mods stable and fun so that everyone will want to establish server using them. >)
