Hey there, I'm playing on Monzters pack, and I'm really intrigued by your mod, I'm looking forward to where you're going with it. However I do have a pet peeve about it, namely the bronze and steel ores you're adding. Those metals are alloys, they're not supposed to be found naturally. Especially in the case of steel this could potentially mess with other mods balance, since their steel making processes could be circumvented with this. I hope you rethink these ores and instead implement some sort of alloying process to make the metals.

There is an alloying process, and bronze and steel do NOT spawn naturally.
The ores are obtainable only through creative mode, miner zombies and crafting.
To create an alloy you need a pulverizer, and you need to turn the ingot/ore into dust. Craft the 2 dusts together and you will get an alloy.
Example: copper dust + tin dust = 2 bronze dust.
To turn an alloy back into dust, you smelt it.
I tried to keep my steel tin copper etc compatible with other mods. If you are encountering problems with a certain mod's ores, let me know.
As for their steel making process, if you don't want it to be screwed up simply don't make mine. I can see where this could go wrong in multiplayer though. I guess as the mod grows up, I will make steel just as hard to obtain as the other mods have it. Though I remember other mods having it the same way I did, iron dust + coal dust = steel dust.
What do you want in the config file? The only configurable id would be the Entity Miner Zombie id at 2500, which I didn't even think mattered.

Alrighty, that sounds actually pretty doable. But it will take time. I had the ore duplication issue in mind when I made the ore recipe, which is why I made it cost 2 of the ingots/gems/whatevers, but I guess that wasn't enough. It doesn't upset me at all, I just wanted to have craftable ores for decoration purposes. Maybe someday there will be a 'decoy' ore just for decoration? As for ore generation, I can only really make it a true or false value. Its either it generates as intended or it doesn't generate at all. I'm guessing TiC means Tinkers Construct, and I might have an idea as to why my tools aren't being blocked by Iguana Tweaks, but I'm not too sure. I don't see why the zombies wouldn't be blocked because I made them extend EntityZombie, meaning the game sees them as a normal zombie AND a miner zombie at the same time, but I'll add that to the config just in case.
To sum it up, I'll add these to the config:
Disable ore crafting (True/false)
Generation for each ore that can generate (True/false)
Generate custom structures, like sky iron spheres in the sky (True/false) (This is it's own thing because sky iron doesn't follow orthodox ore generation rules, and I might add more unorthodox generations)
Disable miner zombie spawning (True/false) (just incase your anti griefing
Disable miner zombie drops (True/false) (could be overpowered if you kill a bunch of sky steel wearing zombies)
Disable spells made from magic paper (True/false) (could be overpowered)
Disable tool crafting (True/false) (Workaround for the Iguana Tweaks problem)
Disable armor crafting (True/false) (Workaround for Iguana Tweaks)
Miner zombie spawn rate (1-100, default 50)
Miner zombie spawn difficulty ("Easy","Normal","Hard", default Easy. Peaceful is not an option)
Disable my pulverizer (True/false) (Other mods may have their own pulverizers that work better)
Skip pulverization (True/false) (If true, you can smelt an ingot into dust instead of using a pulverizer. Default false, only here for experimental and last resort)
SUPPORT ME111!!! (True/false) (When enabled, it will constantly ask you to give me 1/3 of a cent using adf.ly.)
Disable ore height checks (True/false) (When set to true, ores from my mod can spawn at any altitude)
Where there any other notable incompatibilities? Was my copper interchangeable with other coppers? Tell me everything, as well as any ideas that the players had. I said I would put their name in the mod if they had anything.
Also another side note: This mod is probably going to have plenty of incompatibilities (like the Iguana Tweaks not disabling my tools) because of my relatively unorthodox way of doing things. I used OreDictionary though, and used quite a few standards however so the incompatibilities are going to be minor and easy to fix. Thank goodness for a giant modpack to test these all out on.

I haven't seen the log, so I'm not sure if this is the problem, but I've discovered a rare crash with the EntityMinerZombie whenever they don't have an item equipped. If they are killed and dont have a full set of armor and a weapon then the game crashes. I've fixed that now, so I'm going to release an update ASAP.

Sorry about the inactivity, I blame exams. I'm still trying to figure out how config files work on forge, but I think I've gotten it mostly figured out.

It's been so long, and I apologize for not responding any time sooner I've just been dealing with life and grievances such as the loss of family and friends.
Anywho I'm currently on down-time whilst I revise and refine the modpack. There's no longer a server as back in July I had a fallout with the other staff and we all disbanded the network, sadly, though I'm looking to save up the funds necessary to start another after I finish my pack (~2 months or so.)
Depending on how your mod is going I could definitely add it in again.

You could call it "Advanced Ores" in light of the sky steel and spells and what-not.
It works great with other mods' copper recipes, it's completely oreDictionarable!
It also works well with the unifier so the ore is compatible as well.
For the most part it's completely compatible.
And the server isn't live yet so no suggestions! I'll give you all suggestions since it's not really up to me which I think are relevant.
It may go live tomorrow.

A new update, this one will make it almost ok for your server, MonzterAssassin
>Added an option to the config to disable crafting ores, next up is tools
>Added Inoakoleite (Ee No Ah Coal Ee Ite), functions the same as veraktite
>Fixed some derpiness with stone clouds
>Began working on the Exchange Chest which might fit in better as a completely different mod, but I'm thinking it gonna be why arcanite is so useful
