So, this mod seems really cool, any FPS boost is needed for me, thought I do have to ask.
Why do you have those alternative rendering algorithms if they're inferior?
My guess would be for some oddball computers, but I've played around with a few of these algorithms and some seem to just lower FPS, I know it's my computer so I'm not blaming the mod. lol
I'd just love to see something that could help explain which algorithms are better for specific computer specs or whatevs.
Unless I'm wrong about the different rendering types for different computers, lol.
Yea it only happens in 1.7.10, it doesn't happen in 1.8+. I had this enchant glitch about 5 times already and its really annoying. Here, i recorded on my phone:
As you can see in the vid
Everytime I hold an enchanted item it drops me about 10-20 fps and everytime i use an enchanted bow it drops me like 20-40 fps even if the bow is only 4x4 texture and the enchant glint is just one colour... anyone knows how to fix this???
I've downloaded the 1.10.2 version and after putting the .jar file in my mods folder, it just doesn't load. I had 21 mods loaded before installing this mod and still 21 after installing. What do?
It IS loading. It's a missing feature in Forge, it loads tweak mods, but doesn't show them in the mod list. I've been requesting this feature for about a year now, I think I will add the BetterFps version in the corner of the main menu.
When I used 1.8.8 version it was 1.8.9 and I still used it but, It didnt work for 1.8.8. :/ (Yes I know it doesnt show up in forge but when I pressed F12 it didnt show up the versions)

So, I've seen some people have this issue with OptiFine and other JAR files that are installers.
When I double click on the file the CMD window just pops up for a split second and then goes away and the file doesn't run.
Did I tell my computer to open it with the wrong JAVA type or something?
'Cause I had to tell my computer what program to open it with, and I'm not 100% sure I picked the right JAVA thingy.
Could you perhaps shed some light on this matter?
I think it might be a good idea to add the thing with the double clicking the jar for selecting the best algorithm to the features for all the places this can be obtained, because I see a bunch of people having confusion about which algorithm to use, and this would correct a bunch of that.

Hello, thank you for making this mod, but the only thing is I can't use Optifine, and the fog do bothers me, this mod did boosted my fps but is there anyway u can remove the fog?

There's already an Algorithm Tester in the installer, it will automatically test which is faster.

I already have this feature, but it's unreleased. I really have to get back into Minecraft modding
Anyone know what "algorythm" from pressing F12 is the best? I get like 55 fps if that helps
There is not really a "best algorithm", if there was, the configuration screen wouldn't exist at all.
It really depends on your computer, you should test all of them and compare by yourself. It's a little easier if you use the tester, there is a button in the installer for testing algorithms.

You should put that in OP that you can test the algorithms Hadn't known it either if i did't saw that post
Edit: Using Riven my Fishing Rod string doesn't appear.

There is a spoiler with older versions.
Yea but the download button for 1.8.8 says "Download for 1.10.2"
Sorry. The widget somehow changed. It's fixed now

Thanks a billion!
And sorry for using your mod page as a JAVA troubleshooter, I just realized that was really rude of me. X3
