There's some issues with the code in all the files, hence the lack of downloads. However, I do plan to put downloads up again.

There has been progress on the downloads, I have successfully rewritten the overlay renderer from scratch. Why is this good? Well firstly, I now have a better understanding of how the rendering works so fixing bugs should be easier, secondly, the original code was modified vanilla code, which could have been problematic because the mod code wasn't entirely mine.

The new code isn't entirely done yet, there are issues with such as opening GUIs causing the overlay to become opaque, but I think understand what is causing these, so I can fix them.

1.7.10 will come first, then 1.8.

UPDATE:

Just one more bug to squash and then I'm done, the overlay is rendering incorrectly with certain window sizes.

UPDATE 2:

All bugs are squashed, I still have a bit of tweaking to do, expect a release sometime this afternoon(in 8 hours or so from the time I last edited this post).

I have submitted the 1.8 jar to CurseForge. It should be up in an hour or so.

I've done a little fiddling around with the mod. I've taken a different approach to something I tried a while back. I think I may be able to get it working this way, the solution is completely different, but it will allow for sensing specific mobs(including most mod mobs).

Thanks to everyone who's downloaded the mod so far, it's really encouraging to see that people are still coming across my mod and downloading it.

It's been more than a year since I last updated this mod, but do not fear, it isn't dead. I've been making other mods, learning how minecraft works & improving my skills. I'm currently in the middle of porting this to 1.10.2, I should be done sometime in the next few weeks.
