Advanced Inventory allows you to upgrade your inventory with up to six areas that consist of 9 slots each. In addition to that, you can add functionality to them by adding special items like filters or crafters to them.
The mod is still in an early stage, so be sure to see more features soon.
To get started you need to craft an inventory upgrade and put it in the slot below the crafting area. You can open the advanced inventory using the 'R' key.
Is this a flat up replacement for the inventory or is it an expansion alongside the inventory? If it's a flat up replacement; would you be willing to look into changing it to act as an expansion so it's compatible with other mods? If you could, would be a great mod if it is balanced correctly.

Great mod.If you could make it work with inventory tweaks that would be fantastic. Making it work like a pouch, when you shift click items in your main inventory they'll go to the expanded boxes, by priorities, from left to right, from top to bottom.I saw that shift clicking from your expanded boxes to the main inventory works so it can be done the other way too I guess. And make the auto arranging work for every box in part.

Shift clicking items from the main inventory to the boxes will be included in the next update. Hadn't much luck making inventory tweaks sort the expanded boxes yet. However you will be able to sort your main inventory in the next udpate.
I've got about 61 or 63 mods. I'll have to test out a few things and see what may be causing it. I'm not sure if it's baubles or traveler's gear doing that. Will show a list of mods later on. Too sleepy right now to do it.
Currently seeking contributors for a massive Wiki project @ http://minecraftuniverse.wikia.com The aim is to cover in-depth as many mods as possible, right down to Blocks, Items, and Crafting Recipes.
I'll boot my client up, and see if I can pull the log.

You can either have it replace the default inventory or open it with an additional key, if that's what you mean.
Pretty much what I meant. Configurable? I'll grab it before I head off in a couple of minutes and try it tomorrow.

The key is always active but you can use the checkbox in the bottom-left to make it replace the default inventory.
I like it. I'll add it to the OP if you want to.
I'll release a fix later today.
Is this compatible with the gravestones from OpenBlocks?
This looks great, but could you put more detailed info on the page? I prefer reading than watching reviews

Not sure why the GUI is shifted over to the right when I put in one of those other upgrades (crafting, filter, etc)
Just wanted to let you know I would like to use your mod in a mod pack.
pls tell me if this is oaky with you:D
Not yet but it will be in the next update.
Doing that soon.

That's alright.
I wasn't able to reproduce that. Is it shifted as soon as you put the upgrade in the slot? Also what mods do you use?
That's okay.
Help! I can't see the slots to put the special upgrades in
You need to click on the border of the box you want to put the upgrades in.

I have the same issue, but I'm running a lot of mods. Complete list: http://gaming.wikia.com/wiki/User:TwoTailedFox/Current_Minecraft_Mods
Can you provide the contents of the fml-client-latest.log after this happens?
I'll boot my client up, and see if I can pull the log.
