Your mod is amazing but I have some suggestions:
- Vampire clothes but both men and women , increase the basic skills and if you take it on the day you will not damage the sunlight but decreases the durability
- A new boss who is dracula and drops his scepter you for invoking bats that follow you / help
- coffins
I think that most suggestions are cool , but i think it could be like a normal castle not obsidian! still in a forest , making wolves aggressive is cool too!
My suggestions is to maybe make werewolves (humans in the day , wolves or werewolves in the night 50%) , spawn pure vampires with other texture and vampire villagers (impure , you have it already) mew weapons like jrogelio said silver weapons and some old guns, garlic smeared weapons make different vampire hunters with different levels (like max leves van hellsings xD) (and fathers from the church with awesome powers! like Alexander Anderson from hellsing! , if you get bitten by a impure vampire you will be weak , if you get bitten by a pure normal and if you make yourself one STRONG. ( i know these are hard things , im just imagining things , but im shure this will be a cool and big mode in a future so these are some of my ideas , i have a lot more... After years getting mods from this fórum i just joined because of this :3 so if you want more ideas (and less crazy ) i can help you.I know this is a lot of work but make our dreams true? lol , making catholic things can be cool too , im a atheist that loves this kind of things.

How about the player changing into a werewolf and gets perks from leveling up that way as well or a werepyre That would also be a interesting way to go about it. Obviously, if there are vampires then there should be players who can turn into werewolves (Same percentage as turing into a Vampire) also and if they get injected with vampire blood they could also turn into half breeds (Werepyres) depending on a certain percentage (15% chance). If villagers see you turn into a werewolf they will call out the werewolf hunters who will constantly hunt you with silver weapons either for a few days or until you die.
For wolves they can still be tamed with the a bone of some description.
The player when in werewolf form can inject other tamed wolves with werewolf blood.
You become weak with need if you haven't fed on the flesh of humans/animals and start to lose hunger or health until it either reaches half a heart or death.
When daylight comes you become a normal human its like the werewolf mob from Mo'Creatures

I am a 1.8 Minecraft enthusiast. If i give any ideas to you for your mod that you like or even if I just came to say I like this mod, that basically means I would like this mod for 1.8.
I have ASD. I will most likely speak in a way that could offend people, that's the way I've always been (socially awkward), however, I do not mean to be offensive to anyone. Tactfulness has never been one of my strong suits. So, if your going to hate me...then don't bother talking to me as you will just waste my time and yours as well.
Despite what you're thinking the age in my profile is the actual true age. I find it amazing how many people think that ten is my actual age.
@DTSW We will think about werewolves in the far future, when we finished the vampire side and start working on "the other side".
@harys99 Since the hunger bar is replaced by a blood bar, that food thing doesn't really fit.
Something to ,at least temporarly, prevent or decrease sun damage will be implemented.
We will fix that problem with the next version, if you really want to use this mod now, PM me and I will send you a hotfix (since it is just an ID conflict with amnesia).

@Hoaxes We currently have a low health requirement implemented, where you have to injure the mob , before it's weak enough to be bitten. But it is diabled by default, if you want to enable it set the value of SUCK_BLOOD_HEALTH_REQUIREMENT in the configs to something like 0,3.
We will add a chance of dying instead of getting turned for the mobs.

Control over the weather sounds interesting, we will consider that.
@Dkleim thank you for the report, we will fix that. I'm not sure how you can avoid that issue for now. If it occurred when you started a new map, maybe try to generate a few new ones with different seeds
We are currently implementing a vampire lord transformation: The player can temporarily transform into a vampire lord, this feature has a cool down phase and is only available in higher vampire levels. When you are a vampire lord you have extra damage, higher speed and some more advantages we are working on. Now we are not sure if the you should also get some disadvantages like more sun damage and more thirst to make it not so overpowered.
What do you think?
