Hello, Fir3! So, I tested the latest version for 1.7.10, with 130 mods. It's quite stable! Just a recommendation! Don't post the warning as the launcher is opening Minecraft. It' will make people afraid or nervous. Post it in BIG WORDS in the first post of this thread. By the way, the models are awesome! I recommend you to test it with the R.E.V.A.M.P mod and Hungry Animals mod! The results are awesome! Also, thank you for bringing back the Mooshrooms again! The only thing that I have problems with, is in figuring out how to use the new blocks. Furthermore, there is a guy who is creating a mod around chickens
> https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/hatchery (I share this with you, so you can inspire in what to add to your mod!). Again, the mod is stable. Just focus in expanding the info in the book...Oh! And maybe change the random skins for the cows...because all cows are spotted...including the males.
Thank you very much Rodrigo, it really means a lot to me! I'm immediately removing the warning message as it seems useless, and I'll follow your suggestion to put it in the thread! As always, you're a big help in making this mod wonderful!
Excellent mod, but it lacks the compatibility with the other mods.
I have an idea. And what if you leave the standard animal and label them as female. And to add only the male sex and pregnancy. This would not lose compatibility modes such as the Fossils Archeology Revival and Advansed Genetics. Standard animal required for these mods.
Well, I did make this mod in January, 2015. Whereas Better Agriculture was created in June 2016. But I do like Better Agriculture! It's interesting and includes great ideas. Thanks for pointing it out to me!
Ok! I got a problem I hope you can help me with. There seems to be a bug with Special IA, Better Breeds and Hungry Animals, but it shows as you play, so you can’t notice it immediately. The thing is, let’s see…suppose you go into creative and spawn 6 sheep. You leave them be, and when you return there are 24 sheep. You killed them all since you don’t want any lag. Now comes the weird thing, you go to do your things (farming, mining, etc..), when you return to the “sheep massacre spot” there are around 12 sheep in the same place you spawned the first 6! I made sure I didn’t left a couple of sheep so they could breed again (fun fact: I don’t know who did this, but for some reason, as you start killing the sheep, most of them go into hiding under bushes or caves [I use Biomes O’ Plenty]) That’s my issue.[/p]
I tried to create a “natural” population controller (I spawned wolves around the spot, just in case) but the sheep owned them :/ . I had to resort to Polar bears (Mo’ Creatures) but still the sheep are strong![/p]
Thus I got a request, can you modified the wolves so it can attack anything, sheep, pigs, chicken and cows! I realized that cows nor pigs have natural enemies in Minecraft, which can turn into a very bad situation if these mods are added. [request for Special AI modder][/p]
Another thing, maybe slow down the breeding process or make animals sensible to cold or hot biomes, so the population is controlled much quicker, since it seems as soon as they eat, they want to have some…”fun” [to the Modders of Better Breedings and Hungry Animals][/p]
Hmm, strange indeed. But I don't want to alter the specific actions intended by Minecraft. Like wolves are supposed to only kill sheep and I don't intend to change it. But does this issue only arise from Better Breeds or when these specific mods are played together?
Just with the combination. The request to alter the Wolf AI is for Father Toast, so don't worry! The other request: slow down the reproduction process to 7 minecraft days, it's for you! The request for altering the effects of how extreme hot and cold biomes interact with the animals is for a3626a [Hungry Animals creator]. The animals reproduce really quickly. Farms can become overcrowded or even some biomes that pose no threat to them!
I got the same issue with sheep reproducing fast and uncontrolable. i guess its a entity conflic with other mods? i use it with animals +, repitile mod and mysticraft. When i disable mistycraft the reproduction rates are normal., but animals + do not have a spawn config system either so i don't know.
There should be a better way to tell the breeds. Horns, tusks and stuff like that. Bascically have different heads maybe males could be bigger. Also, automatic breeding and a gestation period. The males should be able to breed with multiple females at a time. And females shouldn't just pop out a baby. Maybe they lay down or something until they can give birth.
I know that this would involve aloy of editing but I'm the long run it would benifit the mod
Hi! I plan to use this in my modpack, Tradewinds. Just posting here so I can get updates! Is this mod still being maintained, or at the least, if I report bugs, will they still be looked at? Thanks.

Hello!
I actually tested your mod a lot of times since a year ago! xD Use this as a reference! Although it was posted in 2016, the research goes way back!

That is actually a very good idea! I don't see any problem with doing that, I'll see what I can do. Thanks for the wonderful idea!
Hello!
I'm very glad that you liked the idea, I will wait for the implementation of

Ahh, I understand now. I'll work on that for the next update
Hello!
Here are some pics so you can have an idea of how fast they reproduce!

P.S: The spawn eggs I have in my hand are from: Mammoths and wolves [I don't want people to have wrong ideas about my issue with the farm animals :/ ]

I'm usintg he latest version. How can you breed animals? The vanilla way of doing it isnt working for me.
The guide book appears to be bugged. I can open it, but none of the table of contents links work.
