That is awesome! I'm really excited about future releases of this mod! Is there any chance that you will be adding the ability to ride cows like how you ride pigs? That would be quite cool.

I thought about this... given how difficult the pig was even though it IS an animal you can mount, I'm not sure. I probably will end up attempting it later.
i was thinking if you did end up doing that you would have to find a way to stop the player from "milking" the bulls lol wouldn't wanna drink that milk and also stop roosters from laying eggs

Both of these things should be very easy to do using forge events. But yeah, most likely gonna do it after the official release.
Those pigs look and sound AMAZING! And that saddle... omg. <3
Can't wait to see more!
(Elsaskinlolol) Thank you! (omg it's so old... i need to make myself a skin when i'm not lazy '-')

Slowly... lol. Haven't been feeling that hot lately and I've been distracted by other things, so it's slow-going.
What do you guys think of the head? I feel like it's... lacking somehow? Maybe the face is too long? Oh, the limitations of rectangular prisms...
no dear god don't change that slope lol, cows heads slope from the top of the skull to the tip of the snout on the front side, your models looking good but are you able to round the sides slightly and tilt his/her head up approx 15 degrees? otherwise the poor buggers not gonna be able to see where he/she is going
hey, I really think this is awesome! I would like to see genders, too, and multiple types. if you need help with those just PM me because I have made both of those things. In fact, I was going to create a mod like this after I finished one of my current projects untill I found this! Keep up the good work. also, the pigs ears could be lowered by 1, other than that, Great job! also, I suggest you ask bob mowzie if you can use his ModelRenderers, They do things like this:

I just don't know about the head. What you said is true but I can't deny the fact that there's something about the way I had the head before that just wasn't appealing to me... I don't know. Maybe I could try adding a diagonal prism for the slope of the head and see if that helps. Rotating the head-- I'll keep that in mind. I need to connect the boxes in the code before I can rotate a group of boxes like that, which I'll start on once I've got the texture done.

I'm going to leave the pig alone for now... haha I spent so much time on that code and I just want to work on something else atm. The models there look great! I wouldn't be able to use them directly unless he had some sort of API for them (which I'd rather not make my mod dependent on any other mods except Forge) but I might go see if the code is open source so I can have a look. Thank you for the suggestion!
To everyone else: thank you for the feedback and comments!
Teddwa (The Fakemon in my avatar) belongs to ReallyDarkAndWindie and that is used with permission from him.

Actually, you can redistribute the classes if you want. MowzieModelRenderer and MowzieModelBase are both originally distributed in Llib, but I understand that you don't want dependencies. You can copy both from the Jurassicraft Github here: https://github.com/JurassiCraft/JurassiCraft, and all I'd ask for is a small "special thanks" or something in the OP.
We use an outside api for the animations. It's very flexible, easily intergrated into the source code and makes animating a lot easier.
No, no. I'm talking about our walking and idling animations, which don't use the API. You also need permission from theHippoMaster to integrate the API into the source.
Sorry the progress has been so slow. College has started back up and of course that is my first priority. I'll continue to work on the mod, just more slowly.

Or maybe you should rotate it so that the nose is further forward.

Hmm, maybe I need to have the muzzle sloping from the back instead of the front?
???
