Hmm I just discovered this mod thanks to miner_9751, sounds cool
Just to save space and not have a double post
I downloaded the mod, it's really cool but I noticed that there is only two pieces of stock and no left switch, is this ment to be for time being?
There are two variations of each switch, for a total of 4 switch pieces. The two pieces if rolling stock were to give users a visual representation of what is to be expected. More rolling stock will be added in the future, but as rolling stock entities, and with the piece of track not included.
okay ill make a train controller model! not that epic loco,on that note will there be some kind of power generator? and live steam locos?
Good luck! Looks like a cool Train, we use Techne to model the trains. I'm not sure about a power generator, maybe it'll use redstone dust as an energy source, not sure yet though.

But they should definitely be wireless. When crafting the trains, specifically steam trains, there will be the option for Live Steam, Track Powered, or Battery Operated. Electric and Diesel locos will have the choice between Battery or Track.
Live steam will be worked by something similar to both Traincraft, and furnace carts.
Track powered will be like redstone powered track.
Battery operated will use a battery put into a slot in the locomotive.
I hope that answers your questions.
Mattcraft, that loco looks cool! Good luck modelling it and the power console, and we use Techne.
You need to right click on one of your objects, then you can right click and drag the mouse to look around it.
If it wasnt right click it was one of those things. I cant remember, just muscle memory.
oh i gave up on the one i posted! err how wide are the tracks pixels wise also what can i do o help this mod........because everyone tells me i suck at modelling........ i mean this surely cant be hard.........
"Everyone" was one person. And that should be a bit easier, you just need to practice and you will get better. Track gauge is 4 pixels wide.

Yea, not everyone expects there to be a link in a picture, placing the downloading & Contest Info in the OP as well
We are going to be using a custom API for the mod, which will one day hopefully allow compatibility with little blocks.

Our modelling tool? Techne, I've never heard of Mc Creator

There are some tutorials on youtube.
Once you have the model complete, with or without textures, you can PM me a download link for the Techne file.

I'm pretty sure you use right click to rotate.
Upload the model and texture map to a file sharing site, such as mediafire, and then PM me the link.
Nice! Could you post a photo of it?
How do I say this? its decent... but not decent enough, one its kinda out of scale... two cab much? three, make a tender one.
