Hello, i think this mod is great! i really like the blacksmith/forging style of this
however, Im not much of a fan of the weapons, due to all ready having other mods that supply that
so what im asking is if you can possibility modulate this mod? pretty please???
Thank You! Perhaps you should elaborate on what U think i should "modulate". Just because other mods do weapons doesn't mean that I can't or shouldn't have my own. There are many who like the shield and weapon mechanics. Also the weapons are severely feature INCOMPLETE. They will be worth having and using when im done with them.

i totally agree with you on the matter of having your own weapons and mechanics to go along with them, but my friends and i have built up a selection of mods we really like, and very unfortunately, because they look beautiful, your weapons dont really go along with our "feel"
we do really like the forging method and the forged tools and the woodworking, but we(i mean my friends, not really me) feel that the weapons and leather-working don't really watch the rest of the culture we have built up
so, what we are asking is if you could make it possible to enable and disable certain parts of the mod? such as only forging, and not weapons?

I see what your saying. The leatherworking doesnt overwrite any previous vanilla leather crafting. Its more of an addition. Because of the complexity of the leather working addition a config to turn it off or on would be very extensive and not really worth much. If i was overwriting vanilla leather that would be a different story. The weapons i agree are too hi-res. In the future there will be a low-res config hook that will tune down all block and item models.
I do not like the size of shields they are too large. And in PvP battles between players is difficult to see if the enemy shield, since it is not visible in his hand.

yea, the shield not rendering is a known bug. I just have been lazy about fixing it. =p

My mod will NOT be API dependent. On that note your not the first to request BattleGear2 support. I am considering removing my weapons and shields entirely and maintaining just tools, bows, a spear, and the wooden shield. We'll have to see what happens after this next update I'm working on.
Thanks, I intend to revisit the weapons and give them their own means of upgrading and uniqueness. For example sharpening them with a whetstone. Having the sharpness lvl reduce as the durability decreases. Actual Inlays or bathes to add additional properties. As for the name, i'm not sure what u mean. The mod is about forging and I called it ForgeCraft. I haven't seen another mod with that name.
Forgecraft is the name of a set of servers for mod developers to test stuff on. Direwolf20, for instance, has a series where he shows Forgecraft and its contents off. However, only someone with a bone for a head would get the server and this mod mixed up.
Yeah, ForgeCraft Servers and its utilization is the main result when you google it. Agreed you have to be dense to mix the two up but it may be affecting visibility. Also the punctuation is the same as far as I can tell Nnystyxx, but that may vary from place to place.
