Trinkets is aims to expand upon the loot system in Minecraft.
This mod is going to add several new types of content, a lot of it inspired by other games such as Terraria and The Binding of Isaac. It's also worth noting that this mod will require Baubles to run, this is because and although Thaumcraft will not be required to play this mod, there will be some special content if both mods are ran together. I plan to divide to content up into several sections, these being items, blocks, mobs and dungeons.
Items:
Accessory Items - I plan to add a wide variety of accessory items that can be placed in the Baubles belt slot. These items will grant the user special effects, for example an item that will give the player +1 fire damage whenever they damage a mob regardless of the item used by the player, even if the player is using their fists. The belt slot is being used for these items due to a lack of slot that would specifically deal with the type of items I plan on adding, I like to think of the belt slot being used here as a "pocket" slot. In some cases it will be possible to combine accessory items together to create better accessories, similarly to the tinkering table in terraria, I also plan on allowing the player to convert accessories into rings and pendants that will give the same effect, this way it's possible to have up to four effects at any time.
Armor Items - I also plan on adding several armor based items that can be worn by the player. I don't have many ideas for this right now, but I think it would be fun to add some items similar to the wings in terraria which would give players limited flight capabilities, but also to add things like boots that give you more speed the faster you have been walking or boots that allow you to hover over liquid surfaces. It is also very possible that these items (or at least some of them) can be combined with other accessories or armor, and perhaps even turned into rings and pendants.
New music discs - I plan to add several new music records that can be collected, each record containing a chip-tune remake of a song that inspired this mod in some way or another.
Misc Items - Another part of the items in this mod will be various utility items and other collectibles. An example of this will be the Tarot Cards or some redstone based trinkets.
Blocks: I don't have that many ideas for new blocks right now, however several ideas come to mind, such as blocks that emit certain types of particles, as well as trap blocks that have various effects with them.
Mobs: I don't really want to add a bunch of new mobs however depending on how the mod feels I may consider adding some new bosses and maybe some pets. As for what types of pets, I don't fully know right now, perhaps some passive pets or some mobs that can be summoned to do things for the player, maybe a heal every now and then or perhaps a pet that can occasionally shoot fireballs at nearby hostile mobs. We will see how it goes.
Dungeons: This is where things get fun
New Dungeons - I plan to add several new dungeons that are extremely similar to the vanilla mossy cobblestone dungeons, the difference with these dungeons is that they are made out of themed blocks and draw loot from special loot pools that are specific to them. An example of this would be a dungeon that uses sandstone and chiseled sandstone rather than cobblestone and mossy cobblestone, and in this dungeon there might be a blaze spawner, and the chests might contain some fire themed weapons. I may also add more complex dungeons in the future.
Uber Configurable Dungeons - I plan to make the dungeon system run off of a json file which will be generated when you run this mod. Json files are unique in that it is easy for both humans to read and understand how the file works, and also very flexible. By using a Json file to store all of the data for a dungeon you can configure things such as what biomes the dungeon can spawn in, the min/max x, y and z position that the dungeon can spawn at, how common the dungeon will spawn, what mobs can show up in the spawner as well as some of the spawner nbt data(spawn range, activation range, max nearby entities, spawn count, spawn delay, light levels and so on) what items are in the item pool, what block is to be used as a chest, the min items for that chest, the max items for that chest, and even what blocks are used to make the dungeon walls, and potentially even a schematic file loader in the future so you can import your own dungeons. This will not be limited to the amount of dungeons I include, the player will be able to add new sections for their own dungeons or rewrite the existing ones. There are not really many limits on this. The dungeons I add will be using this system.
Basic yet documented API for dungeons - Other mods will be able to use the IMC methods within forge to send data to my mod, when this data is received my mod will convert this data into dungeon data, much like the Json file having its contents converted into dungeon data. The imc api will offer all the same capabilities that the Json file will offer.

Stop treating mod devs poorly. These people mod as a hobby or as a service to the community, they don't have to take your suggestion and you are not entitled to anything from them.
Sorry for the lack of updates. Unfortunately this project has not been my top priority, however a lot of progress has still been made. Despite lack of updates, this project is still being worked on and progress has been made. Originally this mod was under the name of Thaumic Temptations, I even made a thread under that name which I had forgotten about. I intend to delete both threads soon and make a new one which actually reflects the development of the mod. Sorry for confusion and stuff.

This looks like a cool mod, so you will be able to pull a card then you'll get a buff or maybe spawn a temporary companion, that sounds cool, I'm looking forward for the release! I'll keep an eye on this
