dude...wow...there's quire a few of these now, but I think this looks to be the most promising. I'll avoid pointing fingers and naming names, but it would be cool if you added alot of customization options (you already seemed headed there anyway) like some others with different clothes/armor to scavenge. Minecraft is missing clothes IMO, not everything is protective, and like Morrowind of old, I miss my games letting me layer armor WITH clothes. Maybe thats not possible in mc, but I'd at least like to be able to wear different outifts once in a while. And YES, I do realize I am a guy posting about wanting fashion options on a mod that about a zombie apocalypse with many hardcore features and guns...what can I say ? I want to look cool while I survive the horde ok !
Funny enough we already have quite a few clothing options, from sunglasses which even tint your screen to pants, shirts, vests, backpacks, hats, shoes and gloves, and many many many more clothes will be added. We have a really dynamic clothing system.
You should check out our reddit if you haven't, we have more screenshots and updates there.
and yeah, there clothes aren't protective, well some are, like helmets and vests.
and not wearing shoes causes you to run slower, so you probably want to always wear shoes.
However you can just wait ti'll the 27th and play the mod yourself. (required a prebuilt map for the full experience, luckily we have an official server up with a map that we're currently making, which is already playable.) Hope you check it out.

Yeah, there will be options to change the hotbar slots, its up to the server owners, and obviously servers without DayM you will automatically have 9 slots, however we rushed the release, so everything is buggy.

Dude, Fallout's sunglasses didn't even actually tint the screen (unless you have mods), this is AMAZING ! EPIC ! good job ! Now, to find some good servers ? I just...words can't...this is amazing, very VERY well done, it should be its' own game. DayZ was funner than Arma, Minecraf + DayZ in one game...oh man...You should get a Patreon going for a standalone DayM game...lol...Build it in a different engine though IMO. THAT would be the height of human ambiton. lol. TIl that wet daydream comes true though, this is more than enough. It might be my new favorite way to play...

wetdaydream comes true though, this is more than enough. It might be my new favorite way to play...Shaders mod isn't fully supported, the hands only move on certain shaders, go find a different shader and it fixes it.
