i keep making the same mistake, i think "oh, i've given them a few months, surely it'll be fixed by now" THAT is why i seem to ALWAYS be angry to some of you, my advice is to get the lead out.
there were nice things here, until the mod author threw a tantrum.
Just a quick bug report for a longstanding bug. When running this mod with MCA, Sheepmen and other mobs that use villager functions will spawn in as MCA mobs (MCA villagers in the Nether?). Disabling them (can't find the .cfg file) fixes this, but i'd like to be able to play with both mods fully. It's probably been reported before and maybe it's not fixable, but i figured i would give you a heads up anyways.

I wouldn't know how to fix this.

I can set the spawns to 0 without the boolean, but without the multiplier I have no idea what the numbers actually mean. Any help either way (with the boolean or understanding the spawn frequencies without the multiplier) would be greatly appreciated!

Are you sure that you didn't change anything else in the config and/or put in wrong values. Check if you used spaces at places where you shouldn't. I have never gotten this problem. Can someone else confirm?
Edit: Also, watch out as tamed spiders do not appear to be able to swim yet! They will drown! Another bug is that Chameleons do not change to the color of Podzol.
After some persistence, I seem to have gotten the settings to stick, but even with a side-by-side comparison I can't see any difference between the new working config and the errored files. Since this seems to be an isolated incident, I'm willing to bet it was user error on my part. Thanks, though, for the speedy reply.
Hey Daveyx0, a couple of thoughts on the Mimic Chest - its a really popular monster, but my players have got a bit used to it. If they find a chest in a dungeon these days they rarely fall for it being a mimic. I was wondering if you could do "Mimic" other things too? Such as a Mimic bed, or furnace, or crafting table, maybe a mimic minecart? And, this would be really mean - a mimic door? How about a Mimic mob spawner - so when the players rush in to pickaxe the spawner...........................
Also, I saw a mod recently that had chests which when opened didn't contain anything, but a monster rose up from its centre and stepped out. A cloud of bats coming out was just awesome. A skeleton, or zombie was brilliant - the panic in the players was lovely to watch. Could you do something along similar lines maybe?
Its great having Primitive Mobs back, the haunted tools are just great.
Amazing ideas! The thing that bothers me is that I'm not sure how I would check where these mimics would be appropriate. Mimic chests just spawn randomly in caves atm. I will need to make them a bit more indetectable. It's good to hear that they spawn at least xD I love the idea of a mob coming out of a chest! I might just do that!

bighuge lags (I can't take anything on the ground). Does anyone knows why?When you post a mod: "No pics no clicks" and "MCreator = bad ~99% of the time"
Don't forget to read the crashlog before reporting the crash. It might tell you why it's crashing.
