Pet mod I think you mean, the only thing is all the pet mods that have chameleons use this same mechanic, its just like how the majority thinks the komodo dragon is the largest lizard currently living, I guess people just don't know much about lizards.... Lol.

I know this beta version for 1.10.2 is incomplete, but is it stable. More specifically is it stable enough for a modpack? If yes, can I use this in my modpack?

Weell, most people would recommend you to never use a beta mod in modpacks
Just recently started working on this again. Currently trying out some stuff. Might stabilize 1.10 release and move all new features over to 1.12.1 release, which is going pretty smoothly so far.
Super excited to be able to use this in my new 1.12.2 modpack! Any idea how long this might take? Obviously, no rush but I'd love to start using it, I was hoping to release my pack by the end of the month, I'm waiting for the exotic birds mod to update too.

Oh, thank goodness you're still working on this mod! It is honestly one of my favourites due to the fact that it not only brings mobs from old, abandoned popular mob mods, but that it also adds in its own unique mobs. All of the mobs, regardless of origin, fit into the game seamlessly, while also providing useful utility.

Hello, Davey!
A while ago you asked me about what bugfixes could be solved in the last version [the experimental one] of 1.7.10?

I came up with two [until now]:
- A conflict with the PPAP mod: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/wip-mods/2188456-primitive-mobs-update-progress-suggestions-thread?comment=601
- Another one is with Galacticraft: https://pastebin.com/Tkc9y64K
If you use the enchantment: "Reading" in a vanilla armor while using your mod, you get a crash.

Is the version of Primitive Mobs for Forge 1.10.2 still being developed? Or has this mods been entirely abandoned?
Can't wait to see this for 1.11.2
Blocks which still dont work with the chameleon are cropsticks from agricraft:

Also sometime brainslimes dont render and when they stick to your head its a 100% death. couldnt find any clues in the game logs regarding that though

@Daveyx0 I don't know if you're still updating the old thread, but a few pictures are missing from several sections.

I loved your mod called AtmosMob, are you planning to add mobs that were in this mod or not?
Is that mod still updated?
Do you think do you update to MC 1.12.2 ?
why did you remove the ability to customize the treasure slime and lizard thingy's item spawn chances in the mod options menu withing the game?? ='(
that was one of the greatest features
