I think grove sprites are slowly killing the TPS in my world, which is a new world (day/night 2).
Looking at Opis their timing is at 560.332 us (mean, some are reaching above 900), first time I ran Opis they were at around 300. All other mobs are 30-90.
Fun fact, just ran Opis again, got a single Grove Sprite at over 7000us now and mean average is 1300us!
Adorable little things, but I'll have to disable them.
This is a kind-of interesting idea, and it certainly fits in fairly well with what's already in the mod, but I think they ultimately won't really work.
I mean, they're grass. Any idea how much of that there is in the minecraft world? A lot. If it was something that there was enough of that you'd actually find them sometimes, your biomes would be filled with them. I like the idea of a precious hoe more than a sword or shovel, but I think I have a slight edit you your idea that could improve it. Or you could hate me forever. Whatever. But I think that it should be something similer, but perhaps for wheat instead of grass. This way it's confined to areas that players are actually in, or villages I guess, and the hoe makes even more sense.
The next question is how the precious hoe would work. My personal suggestion would be that it creates a block exactly like damp farmland, except incapable of expiring without nearby water.
I'm not so sure about making it wheat. Sure it would be less common, but the only problem is that would make it too easy to farm sod. Also players would complain about stray sods griefing their wheat farms by leaving little 1 block holes everywhere. Maybe make them double-tall grass, or some kind of flower. Another solution would be to still make them regular tall grass, but they only spawn in a certain biome (probably plains).
As for the precious hoe, I was thinking it would give some kind of potion effect, but your idea works too. Let Davey decide I guess.

Timeless Modding is kinda dead but idk what to put here now
Another suggestion, since we're on the topic of "stuff with plants on their heads". Mushroom sprites. I know they're not technically a plant but you know what I mean. Anyway mushroom sprites would be like grove sprites but they plant mushrooms. They spawn in fairy rings (new structure, basically a bunch of mushrooms in a circle, found in forest-type biomes) or in the mushroom islands. Also maybe they could fight grove sprites.

Hey, some nice ideas here. Also here is a small update from me considering the mod. Lately I've also been working on the Diversity mod, hence why I haven't been posting as much as before. Here is some of the progress:
- I got custom TNT to work. There will be an option in the general config to disable Festive Creeper explosion damage specifically.
- The Grove Sprite has been made significantly less laggy.
- Traveling Merchants will never have 2 of the same trades (not sure if I said that already).
- Lots of other bug fixes.
Everything that is still to do before 1.1 official release:
- Lily Lurker rewrite (the code is a mess)
- Wizard spells + drops
- More Traveling Merchant trades
- Troll AI
- One other mob :3
- More unique cave loot
- Finish new pets
- More bug fixes
Other news:
- The Witch and Adventurer will be in a side update (v1.1.1)

They have a queen and killing the queen drops a fae crown and staff/wand which allows you to command the fae. Wearing the crown while right clicking with the staff makes them attack enemies. The queen has 50 health.

Had already seen this. I'd be kinda interested in trying it, but maybe not as a part of primative mobs. That mechanical-TNT-thing looks anything BUT primative...

This is the new version of the creeper. There is some TNT for a bigger (and more destructive) explosion. It has a pickaxe to go in your house before exploding. We hope you will hate like it

haha, you found that huh. It is supposed to be a fun little art project for the Awesomenauts fanbase. I might throw it in its own little mod if people want to.

Getting a crash when putting on Unique artifacts boots that have the sticky feet enchantment. Not sure which mod's fault it is, so I'm posting it in both.

I occasionally make textures/models for random people. Contributed to: Tinker's Construct, Growthcraft, and Animals+
PixelQuest 2, my new 1.10 RPG/rougelike-inspired modpack, is coming soon!

Fae. (or fairies)
They spawn in many biomes in packs of about 5 - 6 and match their corresponding biome. Give them glowstone and they glow, trap them in bottles for pixie in a bottle decor. Attack one and they all swarm you. They only have 5 health but they deal tons of damage. (Lol)
They have a queen and killing the queen drops a fae crown and staff/wand which allows you to command the fae. Wearing the crown while right clicking with the staff makes them attack enemies. The queen has 50 health.
They are friends with the grove sprites.
I just like fae/fairies and stuff.
Fae and Queen
Found this on Davey's twitter

Not sure if we should be happy or not, because it doesn't sound like this is a thing that he will add to the mod.... But if he does, woohoo
My nightmares have been reborn again ;_;
Yikes... and awaaaaaaay!
Cool! But isn't there a Witch already?
I think it's a new kind of witch, maybe a miniboss?
Timeless Modding is kinda dead but idk what to put here now
I occasionally make textures/models for random people. Contributed to: Tinker's Construct, Growthcraft, and Animals+
PixelQuest 2, my new 1.10 RPG/rougelike-inspired modpack, is coming soon!

We hope you will
hatelike itWhen you post a mod: "No pics no clicks" and "MCreator = bad ~99% of the time"
Don't forget to read the crashlog before reporting the crash. It might tell you why it's crashing.
Sorry if my spelling is bad, I'm learning english...

Why do evil poeple always want to control the world?
If you need ideas, I may be able to give you some...
Warning status: Unbanned
Yes it will be kind of a miniboss
have some cool ideas for her.
haha, you found that huh. It is supposed to be a fun little art project for the Awesomenauts fanbase. I might throw it in its own little mod if people want to.
Getting a crash when putting on Unique artifacts boots that have the sticky feet enchantment. Not sure which mod's fault it is, so I'm posting it in both.

It is the sticky feet fault, whenever I apply Sticky feet on boots, then equip, the game crashs. Well, modded boots, to be exact.
yeah, I got confirmation on this from the modders at unique artifacts already. Please have this fixed for the next version davey!

Will work on it!
Does that mod change the player in any way? Because it seems I simply try to access a variable of the player that it cannot find....
EDIT: Nvm I think I understand
