Found a bit of a bug, matter transporter crashes clients when attempting to put down just about anything relating to redstone and/or multiparts. I started up a server to see if it would crash the server too, luckily it doesn't, but it does disconnect the player and could probably corrupt player data.

Server log includes all the usual server setup stuff and me whitelisting myself, but the client crash is in there too.
I have been trying on all kinds of multiblock structures and I can't reproduce this. Looking into that error, it usually happens when you run low on memory allocated to minecraft. I'll keep looking into the bug, but maybe you can trying giving the game more ram?
So i'm having a strange bug where the Rare Earth Magnet is pulling XP from, well, the earth. The closer i get to bedrock, the faster i get XP. Unless this is a feature, which would be kinda pretty much mostly broken. I'm not to sure where to put it but i have a video of this glitch happening. Might be just a one time thing, i don't know, but im getting levels like supper crazy. I'm using the Modsauce pack on the ATLauncher, version 1.0.0.1, minecraft version 1.7.10.
A few people have reported this happening in different ways. I keepntrying tontrack it down, but I can never seem to make it happen.
Is it all bedrock, or in a certain spot? Did you have a quarry going or the digital miner? The problem is the game seems to think there is XP within range so it is giving it to you. The more you can tell me about the area, what younwere doing, machines that were running, chunk loaded, etc...the better of a chance.I have to fix it
Forgive the spelling...phone
I have tried for another hour and I still can't make it happen. If anyone has a way to reproduce it, (or can send me their world) please let me know. I have, however, added a few additional safety checks to the magnet, and maybe that will help. *fingers crossed*. It will be in the next update which I hope to have out in a week.
Sorry about the major glitch, everyone. I can make the magnet less awesome when it comes to XP (think of how the coin of fortune worked), but I don't want to have to do that. Some mod in the game is creating ghost XP on the ground and I need to track it down. If anyone knows anything I am all ears
Hey, I thought of something which would be pretty useful, assuming you don't have BC installed (my pack's case )
Anyway, the thing is, I'd like for people to be able to make a setup similar to Jessassin's one on the Modsauce Official Server, where he fabricates lava, and uses that BC block (which I never remember the name) so it places the lava generated as source blocks in a cross shape. It's pretty useful for a simple mid-level Botania mana generation.
Sadly, I haven't included BC, so I don't have that block. Could you include some block like that, that takes fluids which can be placed in the world, keeps them in an internal buffer, and once it detects an air block in any of it's sides (not up nor down), it removes 1000mb from the buffer and places a source block there? With a cooldown of course... It would be pretty useful, as it's pretty much the only block I'd be interested from BC, and it's not worth adding the mod just for that

Didn't mean a multiblock, I meant a multipart, like an extra utilities pipe with a cover over it, I also tried this with some activated redstone, a Project Red timer, a Mekanism energy cable, and a vanilla repeater, each time I got the same crash. I'm already giving 4 GB to Minecraft, and from the crash logs, only 1301 MB were being used at the time of the crash, if I give it too much more it will be less stable than with 4 GB. However, I did try with an absolutely obscene 10 GB of RAM allocated, no difference.
Edit: Upon testing it further the crash appears to happen if the matter transporter picks up a block and can't store it for some reason or another, if the matter transporter is called Unnamed it will instantly crash when set down, no matter the amount of RAM given to Minecraft.
Ive found a bug. When i used the matter transporter, i accidentally clicked on the bed instead of the chest, so when ever i try to place it down the game crashes. Btw im using the Modsauce Mod Pack
Yeah, that sound like the same bug Cp3o613 was referring to. I fixed it last night and it will be in the next update. Unfortunately, you are going to have to just toss that transporter and make a new one. I'm terribly sorry
You can send me links to alpha versions too. First I want to add the mod to a pack and second I do update all the mods every few days so I can tell you when e. g. forge or what ever breaks with it.
Yes, it seems to have a harvestlevel of 8 atm depending on WAILA.
// Edit: I was able to change it with Iguana Tinkers Tweaks but it might be a nice feature anyway.
Sorry about that. What version are you using? If you can update to the latest I'm pretty sure that has been fixed.

Right now the biggest help would be someone who would be willing to test new versions of the mod before they are ready
I can
