AllTheThings adds many new things to the game, including materials, biomes, food, trees, fossils, tools, machines, crops and a dimension!
1.1.0.0 Prerelease 5 is ready for use! It contains:
- RF Support for things and stuff!
- Things that don't do anything yet!
- New villager!
- Better potion effects!
- New potion effects!
- Liquids are much better now. Still unobtainable though.
- Foxes!
- Explosions!
- Commands!
- Backpacks!
- Nuggets!
- New tree!
- Better generators!
- New batteries!
- Fixes!
- Stuff!
- Things!
- Awesomeness!
Without further ado, downloads:
WARNING: The new prerelease and any future versions are incompatible with Version 1.0.0.0 AND 1.1.0.0 Prerelease 1 and 1b. Everything WILL break! You have been warned. It IS however compatible with Prerelease 2, 3 & 4.
It requires Minecraft 1.7.10 and Forge, and I recommend Baubles, however it is not required.
We are open source! Find our GitHub here! We also have a wiki that needs work! Contribute here!

Usage in Modpacks:
You can feel free to use this mod in any pack you like, provided you let us know, give us the proper credit for our work, and do not edit any files from the live version(s) (not including the config, of course).

OK, I managed to get a recipe working in the Gem Purifier. However, I did it in the hackiest way possible, as I have no idea how I should be doing it. So the items you get from it don't stack, shift clicking still makes you crash, etc.
At least it sort of works.
EDIT: Yeah, they're ghost items... not sure how to make them not ghost items.

Armour, new WorldGen, new OreDictionary integration, new textures, new materials and a (still non-functional) GUI for the Gem Cutter are up and running. Whew.
I did a big long post a few days ago when I got armour up and running, but it didn't make it through for whatever reason.

Minecraft has crashed for the purifier id! And the config file is empty! How am I supposed to correct it? By deleting the mod (I did it, no config, no resolution)?

Looks like it's trying to register the id twice... strange. The new id system shouldn't have a problem with this, any other mods with a purifier would be placed under their ModName:purifier...
I don't know why this is happening, but I'll look into it tomorrow.

I can't stop featurecreeping.
I've now added a cherry tree for no reason other than that I had the textures from ages ago and wanted to use them. As such, there is a cherry forest biome where such trees spawn.
Another tree will also be added which will have fossilised resin on it. As hou may know, Amber is fossilised resin. Yes, that is how you'll now obtain amber. Yes, you can also get rubber.
Do I need help with my problem? Maybe.
Oh, the machines? They're coming along. Slowly. Reeeeaaaaly slowly.
This mod sounds amazing. Ive been waiting for more jewelry to use with baubles.
More goodies is always good...buuut, a mod with working goodies is even better. Cant wait to see everything so far in action.

ANNOUNCEMENT!
I have teamed up with OmgImAlexis, and we have merged our two mods as they were pretty similar in goals and ideas. The mod will now be known as AllTheThings, and will have some more stuff coming in this update.
Yes, this does mean the delay of this update will be longer. Yes, OmgImAlexis knows how to make machines, so the machines will be coming along now (hopefully). Yes, this means faster updates in the future. No, this does not mean anything will be removed or anything silly like that.
Also, open source! We are now open source on GitHub. Right here.
Just a quick update, I should have the basic machines up and going in a few days along with the secret.
Checkout the github repo and you might find out what it is.

Just to let people know, when we merged our mods we used Alexis' code as our base, so I have to port a lot of my old code to the new repo. Crafting is currently not in, and some machines aren't re-added yet.
However, once we get some more stuff done, we will publish a pre-release update! This will not have everything I said it would added quite yet, but it is just a pre-release, and more will come.

Don't forget to read the crashlog before reporting the crash. It might tell you why it's crashing.
